Not the best quality, brass scratched and the fit to the blade is sloppy.

The heft and feel as in balance of the nice is very good. The fit up of the handle to the knife is more what you would expect from a $20 knife. The sheath is ok as in seems functional. Back to the handle, the edges where the various pieces of the handle come together of the layers are not smooth. Where the edges common to the full tang also are not even.There are burrs on the tang and gaps between the handle layers. Overall the quality of the craftsmanship looks to be unfinished. As if the production got in a hurry and hence affected the quality. The brass lines between the handle pieces are also burred and rough. there are gaps between the wood that taper from .000 to about .007. The look of the knife is somewhat unique but even in a display case from 5 feet away I do not think I can disguise the lack of quality in craftsmanship and materials.

Blade sharp and sturdy. Handle work looks like it was done by a child! Large chunks missing from plastic and deep scratches on metal parts. Don't waste your money.

I would definitely order from this seller again. The Stauer Canyon Bowie knife was exactly what I expected, the quality and workmanship is a FIVE STAR rating. I had purchased one last year but, lost it in the Campfire in Paradise, CA. and was heart broken. But, fortunately found this one on Amazon......Very happy!!

Sweet knife will order another one for myself soon.

The sheath fits very loosely; the retaining strap does not secure the knife within the sheath.

DON'T BOTHER, BUYING, ANY KNIVES, FROM STAUER, THEY ARE ALL MADE IN PAKISTAN, ABSOLUTE JUNK.... RUSTY BLADES, AND WORTH MAYBE, $5.00. AT YOUR LOCAL 7/11...been there, done it.
