Beats push scooters hands down on safety, comfort, and speed
I have tried many different scooters of all types, and this beats a regular push scooter hands down while still having similar dimensions and weight. I have a 4-mile commute each way to my office so I torture-test the equipment to be sure. It's my first 'scooter' with inflatable tires and I just love them. I even had a double suspension scooter but this is the right combination of speed and comfort. It excels in the most important areas: comfort, speed, surface tolerance, and most importantly braking. I have gone so far as to add my own caliper brakes to my scooters, but the Pedalflow has a normal crank-activated bmx type brake which is superior to any scooter brake other than a caliper (which are not widely used). So the scooter ends up being much safer to slow down quickly and will not get caught by a surface level change like a driveway lip so you won't tumble on this.It is exceedingly well made as all Micro products are so I expect much better wear resistance than most scooters.Another nice advantage of this scooter is that your height is much greater since you're standing up when the pedals are flat which increases your visibility and your vision so that's safer too.I expect that I will enjoy this scooter for years. Did I mention it's way faster than regular scooters? That's the only downside that maybe you don't get quite as much exercise but it's still better than a bicycle physically and due to its compactness.

It is what it is, and if it is what you want it to be, then it is freaking awesome!
Perfect for folding up and fitting in your Ford Flex easily along with two toddler bikes for a park ride.Lots of fun and lots of positive comments from those passing by.If my wife will let me, I am going to take this to get to the local train station one day soon to get to the airport, to get to some far off city on a short trip, and skip the cab and rental car once I get there.Going to have to be the right destination city though....

Decent micro bike, more of a novelty to me.
I ended up returning mine due to a bent front fork out of the box. It was angled off pretty significantly to the right, viewing the front wheel from the handlebars. Significant enough to notice a handling issue, and to fix it required tools I don't have. Basically, I didn't feel it was worth keeping due to this, so I sent it back. I can say the construction of the minimalmist aluminum frame felt pretty solid, and all other components were a pretty nice quality. The experience of riding it wasn't enough of a thrill for me to justify having it around, I felt like it would just collect dust eventually. If you are planning on riding this in areas with hills, I would definitely suggest modifying the gear ratio, as it's set pretty high for flat surfaces.

Very portable fun!
I took this out the past two weekends and it was as fun and convenient as I expected. I also have a full sized bike as well as a bike carrier. However, the bike carrier requires pre-planning, even if it only takes 10 minutes to setup. The pedalflow and a separate folding bike can *both* fit in the trunk of my Camry. This thing is great for cities where parking is tough. I no longer mind parking a few blocks further away from my destination; I can now just pop the trunk, unfold the pedalflow, and be riding in a minute.Several other reviews mentioned the left pedal loosening and/or falling off. One of them mentioned adding some loctite (screw thread tightener). I happened to already have some of the threadlocker so preemptively attempted to put some on. I found that my product already shipped with loctite on that particular screw. Seems like the company actively listens to customer feedback. My pedalflow actually had some rattling sound initially to which I contacted support. To my surprise, support actually responded over the weekend. Turned out I just needed to tighten some nuts with the included wrenches.

Surprisingly fun
This was not a rational purchase but my goodness what a great one it was. I bought this as a chance to share scooter and bike rides with my seven year old. I really thought it was just a toy but it has proven to be great exercise, great fun, and I use it constantly. It took only a few minutes to get the hang of it. It's geared quite high and frankly moves much faster than it probably should...10-15 mph. It's rubber tires make it smooth and it's easy enough to ride for hours. It folds up brilliantly and weighs a mere 15 lbs. The best description I can give is that of a human powered Segway. It's generates smiles and looks everywhere I ride it.All it needs is a second gear to ease going up hills and it would be perfect.

This is a quality product.
My brother has 4 of these bikes, 2 for visitors. We rode all over Denver with them and after that I had to get one.I will probably get 2 or 3 more in the next year as my kids are loving this cool bike that gives you a great work out.Instead of getting in my car, I jump on this and go to the store with a back pack for those one or five items I run out of in between grocery shopping. I also get on it to have a great weekend ride and workout. Just too much fun!

Simple, Fun Little Bike!
Awesome lil' bike thing! Though, it was delivered and the front wheel would not attach smoothly into the frame. I had to bend it open. Anyway, I contacted customer support and David helped get everything cleared up and I received a Pedalflow with a proper frame! Great customer service, so instantly 5 stars. The Pedalflow itself has difficulty going up any hills as it only has one gear, but I knew what I was getting. I only wish it was a tad cheaper and came in different colors.Pros:- Small and fold-able- Solid build- Great customer service!Cons:- Only comes in white
