Works with 2k10 Silverado
Works well with my 2010 Chevy Silverado with Onstar. Retains chimes, turn signals, warning sounds. Had a small issue with wiring; had to call tech support and they pointed out an (obvious) mistake on my part that was a 10 second fix. Paired this with a JVC in dash DVD (also sold here, see other reviews). Been installed for several months with no issues.

missing and broken parts
I've had to purchase 3 of these, and it still isn't right. The first package was missing the wiring harness completely. The second package had the volume knob on the interface broken, so my chimes were beeping extremely loud and the music volume all the way up with no way to turn it down. The third package was again missing pieces but I was able to at least switch out the interface. The volume knob was not "broken" but did not adjust the volume of the stereo and now the chimes do not work at all. I'm tired of replacing this item and shipping broken parts back so I am going to stick with the no chimes and high volume. I had heard good things and the reviews seemed to be overall positive, I really expected better quality parts than what was provided.P.S. in line with the other reviews I read the instructions do not address many of the wires attached to the harness and interface. My assumption is there are other parts you are supposed to purchase in conjunction with this such as the ASCW-1 that have instructions noting the additional wires. If you end up purchasing this product please expect to have a lot of wiring left over with no explanation.

Works awesome
Works like it should. I don't mine the small and by small I mean tiny delay when using the steering wheel control. The relay click for the turn signals don't bother me.

Used in Tahoe LTZ 2010 and Pioneer avh-x5500bhs
I used this one to replace the stock radio in my Tahoe with pioneer avh-x5500bhs. it was easy to fix and install. there are a lot of wires you will see and won't use but still excellent buy.

Works in my 2006 monte carlo ltz.
Works good, I still have on star. Takes a minute to turn the radio some times. Hard to install.....needs better instructions.

No instructions or Manual.
Not the quickest delivery, and it was NOT the unit I needed. Just because it "Says" it fits your particular vehicle, doesn't mean it'll fit the Vehicles Wiring-Harness. And if you want to try to Wire it Direct, you should at least have a Wire-Diagram or Owners-Manual included in the Packaging... And there wasn't one.

Works, with flaws
The unit works as intended, it keeps the door and turn signal chimes. It keeps Onstar. The reason I give it 3 stars is because of two things. One is that the bundle of wires that you see in the stock photo of this unit does not even come CLOSE to show the sheer amount of wiring that is attached to all of the connectors. My truck had a large opening in the dash and it was everything to get all of the wires stuffed in there. The second problem was the fact that this unit feeds a high level audio signal into the factory Bose amplifier. I called Metra and they informed me that the factory Bose amps will accept a high level signal and that they do not make a low level interface anymore. This is all fine except that I was getting high pitched noises (not engine whine), pixelated noise (hard to describe, that about sums it up) and various other noises when using this unit. Also, I had to keep my radio at a very low volume level (2-3 out of 50) because the factory Bose amp was receiving such a high level input from the radio through this interface. I eventually purchased a Scosche line level converter to use with this interface and ALL of the noises went away. I had perfect sound and I could actually turn my radio up to 20-30 out of 50. It is now perfect but I had to purchase this additional item to make it work. Should not be the case with such an expensive interface from Metra.
