Perfect fit - slipped right on. Replacement took about 15 minutes. One thing to know - on original winch, bolts holding motor on went from INSIDE the gear reduction housing and screwed into the outside bottom of the drive motor. On the new winch, they go from outside of the rear of the motor to nuts inside of the gear housing. They fit. , just a bit different. Although you could remove their bolts and reverse them so the head was inside of the gear housing and the nuts were external at the end of the motor. (I probably should have done that, but OK as is.)

Slow to arive but fits and works as it should

fit my very old snowbear plow perfect and works great.

Good product but it will freeze up in winter when motor is used for snowplow if it is not covered when not in use will run sealant around the seams to see if it helps.

For being used only one average snow season just around my home this is a crummy winch. The plate where the spool meets the motor cracked and broke off so it won't go up or down.Of course the 1 year warranty just passed last month. It gets used about 15 days a year for about 2 hours a day.

This motor may or may not fit other Snow Bear plows, but it doesn't fit mine. I have two, the 2 inch forward hitch and the two point Winter Wolf. It fits neither. See the picture. For either standard SnowBear winch motors (right) you need a spline, not a tang. I wrote the seller asking if they had the right one. No response so far.

Did not have the power to roll tarp

I installed this motor on a plow I use on my dodge Dakota pickup. It’s not a full size truck, the plow is not exceptionally large either. Works for the amount I need it for here in East Central Part of Pa.I was sent the wrong one at first… probably a motor for a kitchen blender or other small appliance, but I was able to return and receive correct replacement in a pretty quick time frame, essentially shortly before Christmas.
