FM reception!
A simple solution to restore FM reception to my old (1990) Pioneer component stereo system. The original antenna having expired, I was looking for an unobtrusive, easy-to install replacement. It works well, and I now have great FM reception in my suburban neighborhood. With four different connection jacks, this will probably work for you too, just make sure to tighten the connections.

The classic collapsible antenna. It is a little short for optimum reception in the FM spectrum. That said, in the urban/suburban environment it works. In fringe areas, i.e., East Tookie-Tookie Land, YMMV.Three adapters are included - tip and ring, RCA, and coaxial.Ok, collapsible antennas wear out if you regularly extend or collapse them. Be gentle when changing the length, and leave fully extended attached to your receiver. Wipe down with a clean cloth before collapsing each segment from the top down before storing.I bought this antenna to test a couple of multifunction flatscreen televisions that have built in off air tuners. The table top antenna I had was not working. By selective substitution, the table top antenna itself was proven faulty. The collapsible antenna with the table top antenna's amplifier nets more off-air channels than the table top antenna ever did.

Loose connector.
Adapters are poor fits. Push-on standard audio connector is too loose to stay connected to the tuner with any movement. Not producing very good signal reception.

Works Great!!!
I was given a Denon stereo receiver by my grandparents. When I first plugged it in and hooked-up the speakers, I couldn't get a signal. I then bought this antenna and attached it to the receiver, I was able to get lots of channels and now enjoy listening to music!!
