Well it's a gasket. Its complete, it fits, it showed up. So. Ya. No moving parts, the kids seem to like it. Not the greatest birthday gift for the wife, but she will roll with it.

Fit Original Gas Gauge Sending Unit Perfect
Bought this along with an Omix gas tank for our CJ5. Both fit great and all holes lined up as they should. Put a little gasket sealer on top and bottom of cork gasket to ensure a leak proof seal.
