Certified Refurbished Echo Plus (2nd Gen) – Premium sound with a built-in smart home hub - Charcoal Fabric

I'll start with what I dislike: The gap between selecting a song and it actually playing is sometimes annoying. It seems like the speakers are not talking to my phone very well.The positives, though, are too many to list. The sound is good, most of the time connection is perfect, it works brilliantly with the echo sub and is MUCH better than the dot.But the main thing that needs to be mentioned is the "refurbished" part on this listing. I feel like they've made a mistake with mine...other than the plain brown box it's brand new! The speaker and plug were wrapped as new, not a single mark on anything. Not even a tiny one. I have shown a few people and after seeing mine they'll be buying refurbished now.

I love my echo plus .. I bought it refurbished and really didn’t know what would arrive.. in fact I was nervous when opening it.🤔 but once I seen it I couldn’t believe how lovely it looked .. it looked brand new and it sounds absolutely beautiful has the bass and treble in the right places the only word that suits the echo plus is “perfect “ thank you amazon I saved money and am over the moon with my purchase 😀

Amazing value when they were being sold for £45.99 in early August 2020 !Item was without orig box but otherwise looked totally as new with lead and charger. Still the same warranty so what's not to like ! It pairs up with my matching Sandstone GEN 3 and sounds the same to me so have as a stereo pair (or 2 monos, who knows i our bedroom ?) . The Zigbee hub to me is an irrelevance so can't comment on that as I don't use.I got a chance to compare these with our SONOS 1 pairs (at £300 mind) and they are not even close in sound quality sounding muffled and dead buy comparison even using the bass/Mid/treble adjustment. BUT a pair here can be had for an astonishing £86 atm rather than fully price £180 (2x Gen 3's_same speaker insides) But if you dont do a Like doe like comparison they are very respectable. I now have 5x Gen 3's/Gen 2 Plus's (the same sound/look) around the house and have no complaints at all.Alexa is still a little dumb compared to Google+ and comes back with 'Hmmm I dont know that one' quite often BUT I usually just use for music and the radio so am not fussed as I use my phone for Google+ searches.At this price (£46 on offer) don't quibble and just snap it up, especially as a pair as that's on another level to a single in sound (or should I be saying that as maybe I want to come back for some more at this price!) :-)

I have had for a few months now and seen no problems buying refurbished. It came packed as new. It’s easy to use and the sound quality is great. I have had a few lockdown kitchen discos now. Don’t hesitate purchasing a refurbished

I had been toying with the idea of a smart home device for a while and when I came across the Echo Plus gen 2 (refurbished) selling for £44 I could not resist especially after reading various reviews that stated that their's arrive in as new condition and performed immaculately.Well I can confirm all they said, mine arrive "as new", and performance is outstanding for a small speaker. I can see more Echos appearing around the house as time goes by and I really get to grips with what these devices can do.

Really pleased with my purchase! This was to replace a 1st generation Echo which had started to become unreliable, especially using Bluetooth.This one has deeper sound, despite being almost 1/2 the size. I mainly use it for playing audio form my PC & it works well either through Bluetooth or the 3.5mm jack.Easy to set up using the Alexa app - done in a minute or so :)Excellent value through Amazon Warehouse!'Refurbished' but couldn't see any signs of use & was packed as new!Result!! :)

A very nice upgrade from an echo dot which did not quite fill the lounge with sound so moved it to the kitchen. This device is powerful and only needs to be at 30% volume for daily use and up to 90% for a family get together. Music is clear enough on standard Amazon Unlimited - not sure if Unlimited HD would be any better. Not sure what the HUB facility is all about. I have several lights and sockets installed on the Alexa App which are voice controlled through all my echo devices.

Surprisingly, I actually recieved this item. Normally items are untruthfully marked handed to resident but are not.I do like these Alexa speakers. For the price, they offer reasonable sound quality and as a part of a growing home automation system are really convenient for controlling many appliances and lighting. Its a bit of a shame that they can't be used to call emergency services but perhaps understandable. Other than that, I really like them.
