I was hesitant to order this because nowhere does it mention it could work for a hiatal hernia, which is what I have.But I decided to order it and give it a try because I liked the slim design of the belt.I’m so glad I did. It is made well, and has a bump on the pad that gently pushes a protruding hernia back in.Highly recommend!

Unlike some reviewers, I have only good to say about this umbilical hernia support belt. It stays in place. It works fine under my clothes without enlarging my waist to the point that larger belts and pants are necessary. I have used much larger stronger belts which may be necessary for large people but this works well for me at 6 feet tall and 185 pounds. I have used this belt for several months and highly recommend it. When it wears out I will buy another one and not complain because it didn’t last a lifetime. It is very inexpensive for what it is.

IF THE ROUND PAD IN FRONT DID NOT ROLL UP OR BUNCH UP IT WOULD WORK MUCH BETTER.

I'm using this product to protect my hernia which is located in my stomach. It still has not relieved my abdominal pain that I have, but I need the protection so the hernia won't grow because I'm trying to avoid an operation in the future. The belt is very comfortable and I can't feel I'm wearing it. I think it will be worth the money in the long run.

First, the size was right on. Measured my waist, and bought that size. Unfortunately that was the only good thing. First day of wearing wasn't too bad. Although the pad did show through my shirt. The second day not so good, The material that connects to the Velcro on the belt came off the pad. Looks like it was just glued to the pad. Not a good idea, bummer. I wouldn't recommend this belt.

The button for the actual hernia is almost flat. It isn't enough for my hernia. I guess it would work elsewhere or one an outie bellybutton. I had to buy a different piece for it. I do like the comfort of the belt because it isn't as binding as the other belts out there.

I purchased this for my dad because I found out that after his stroke, he ended up with a hernia. He said that it would pop out and hurt while he would try to stand to fix him something to eat. He called me the next day and said to me ( baby thank you so much for getting this belt for me, it really works well). So with that in mind I wanna say thanks to whoever invented this product and thanks to Amazon for making it accessible to me.
