Love this film i Definitely recommend

Brilliant film she was amazing in the roll.

In this 2002 social drama, Slim (Jennifer Lopez) marries Mitch Hiller (Billy Campbell), and they have a child, Gracie (Tessa Allen) but his controlling behaviour goes unnoticed. Skip years later and Slim finds out Mitch has been cheating on her but he admits it and becomes violent, slapping and punching her in the face when she threatens to leave. So the question is, what will Slim do now?This gets to the point within 15 minutes and what follows is a harrowing tale of a strong willed woman who wants out but is held in check by the menacing attitude of the husband. The strength of this is that the first third follows a plausible path but then stupidity apparently takes over [lose a *] and the ‘stupids’ pile up which does make things more interesting in ‘An Enemy of the State’ manner mixed with ‘Sleeping With the Enemy’. There are some nice twists in this –provided you haven’t read too many reviews [regain a *] and its nice to see the much under-rated Juliette Lewis in a support role.The single disc immediately offers audio set-up [English, Russian, Hungarian], subtitles [English, English commentary 1&2, English captions, Russian, Czech, Arabic], scene selection, special features [2 commentaries, deleted scenes, Max on the set] and trailers [5 of]. Rated 15 this contains some minor cussing and plenty of threatening violence but no nudity or sex. I actually wanted to mark this down but found it doing its task –being entertaining and tense, although I personally didn’t support the dubious morally and legally flawed ending –sorry!

The portrail of the domestic abuse together with the stalking gave the film great impetus. Jennifer Lopez was excellent throughout. The feeling that an abused wife has very little support or options came over strongly.

This was a brilliant film with a man getting just what he deserves. As a domestic violence survivor myself I so understand what this woman went through.Brilliant storyline. Just a shame these sorts of films have to be made to highlight just what women have to go through. But like I say he got what was coming to him.Well worth watching.

Very emotional. The actors really pull you into the storyline. Having been through similar situations, this is a true to life movie that left me in tears ❤️

Although this is a very difficult watch for me in part( as a DV survivor) I do love it for the ending in particular!I think JLO is a brilliant actress and all round very talented person and enjoy watching her movies

Oh man, wenn jemand aus der Sangesgilde sich als Schauspieler/in versucht, kommt es mir in der Regel immer gleich hoch. Meist kommt dabei doch nur Schrott heraus, auch wenn ein Blockbuster (Bodyguard) dabei ist. Da denk ich immer gleich - Schuster, bleib bei Deinen Leisten.Aber es gibt ja auch Ausnahmen. Und Jennifer Lopez ist in der Hinsicht eine Ausnahme. Nicht nur, dass sie in ihren Rollen ausnahmsweise keine Sängerin miemt. Nein, sie kommt als Schauspielerin auch recht glaubwürdig rüber.So auch in dem vorliegendem Film "Genug". Männer sind Schweine - eine Behauptung, über die sich trefflich streiten lässt. . Und in diesem Film wird eindrucksvoll unter Beweis gestellt, dass sie es mitunter doch sind. Das Thema ansich ist nicht neu, wurde in Filmen auch schon reichlich abgehandelt. Aber hier setzt sich eine misshandelte Frau mit Kind, ständig auf der Flucht vor ihrem gewalttätigen Mann, mal so richtig zur Wehr. Sie hat endlich genug von ihm, nimmt an einem Kampftraining für misshandelte Frauen teil und verfolgt dabei ihr - zugegeben politisch etwas unkorrektes - Ziel: ihren Mann zu beseitigen, damit sie endlich Ruhe vor ihm hat. Und ich als Mann - wir erinnern uns: Männer sind Schweine - komme nicht umhin zu denken: zeig's ihm, Mädchen.Ein wichtiges Thema, das etwas unspektakulärer schon in "Black and Blue" behandelt wurde. Hier ist der Film aber etwas farbiger und actionlastiger, das dem Gesamturteil aber keinen Abbruch tut. Erinnern wir uns noch einmal, Männer sind Schweine, und in dem Film gibt es viele davon. Aber trotzdem wird keine schwarz-weiss-Malerei betrieben, gibt es doch auch genügend Männer, die der Lady zur Seite stehen. Auch wenn hier fast schon Popcorn-Kino geboten wird, dürfen wir nicht vergessen, das häusliche Gewalt, meist gegen Frauen und Kinder, leider gar nicht so selten vorkommen. Und auch nicht so elegant und unkorrekt gelöst werden.Bei Jennifer Lopez als Schauspielerin kann man, wenn man von den seichten Komödien a lá "Wedding Planer" mal absieht, die nicht so mein Fall sind, eigentlich nichts verkehrt machen. Auch Nicht-Fans von Miss Lopez kommen hier auf ihre Kosten. Klarer Fall - volle Punktzahl

I broke my tv and am waiting to get another one! I’m watching old vhs’s in the mean time and they r so hard to find. I love this movie and probably watched it 4 x the same day l received it!!!!!!!

Die Lieferung hat ein bisschen länger gedauert, aber wurde wie beschrieben neu liefert ungeöffnet.Ich kann den Verkäufer weiter sehr empfehlen.

I expected a gripping thriller but was disappointed after the first 20 minutes. It started off great then frizzled into a boring, predictable & disappointing.
