BulovaMen's 98C71 Marine Star Two-Tone Stainless Steel Watch with Brown Leather Band

My husband had been a Seiko fan for yesrs, but after several disappointment we decided it was time for a change. What a beautiful watch this is! After over 2 years it is still on the original battery. He loves the luminous hands and tick marks. Only reason for the lack of 5 stars is the band. It was trashed in less than 6 months, the leather just seemed to rub right off. Hubby has a desk job and is not a typical male with regards to wear & tear on items, he's actually very cautious. He tried to use leather polish to restore it to no avail. It is also incredibly stiff and to this day won't bend properly around his wrist. Trying out a Fitbit for now, but this watch can't be worn again until we get a new band.

The watch itself is a good quality product, but the watch band is inferior. There is a thin plastic covering on the leather that peels off quickly leaving an unsightly appearance. The band is not covered under Bulova's warranty. If you want the watch, get a replacement band and swap it out right away.

The watch is good looking, nice weight, I rate it 4 stars just because the size could be a little smaller for my taste... I few milimeters more in diameter and I would give the 5 starsOne ítem to consider: in the next few weeks will be able to notice if the leather strap gets that awfull odor that some of them gets... will update when realize it

The watch is fashionable and it looks good in any situation. I have received two of them. The first was sent back because the surface of the band was coming off. The second one's band is starting to do the same thing but I guess I will just try to find a better band later. Bulova messed on when they chose this band.

The watch is not very big.....I guess I was hoping for a bit larger face but overall it looks kind of cheap but I guess you get what you pay for?

I needed a simple and not a big bold but flat wristwatch, though this is not too flat but it serves the purpose because it’s not in those big categories.Luminous in my own idea is the ability to read my time in real darkness because it would reflects like a diamond and this simple wristwatch serves the purpose because even if in a dark room, this wristwatch does not require a flash light it shows itself and time is more easily readable due to its luminous function.Though I haven’t tried this but the manual indicates that the top ring has the ability to help time while swimming because it’s not just a design with numbers but it actually rotatesOverall, I love this wristwatch and I will recommend it to a friend.

From an aesthetic perspective, the watch was great. From a quality perspective, it was poor. The rotating bezel would not rotate. Stuck in place after an initial very slight rotation. Movement of "second" hand was very imprecise. By that I mean it would fall between the numbers in it's movement. Maybe not a big deal to some people, but to me it is. Reflects poor quality. Never had this problem with other watches I've owned. So overall, very disappointed with the watch. Expected a lot more from Bulova.

At first glance a very nice watch but soon transpired that the hour hand was out of position so that when the minute hand was at 12, the hour hand was half way between the hours.

L'orologio è bellissimo, unisce la precisione Bulova alla linea elegante e allo stesso tempo sportiva. E' comodo e adatto per essere indossato ogni giorno ma anche nelle occasioni particolari.

My son was thrilled when he opened this watch for Christmas. I understand he wears it for dress and play and really likes it.
