BRASWELLS Champagne Dill Mustard, 9 OZ

Back in the '80s when Silver Palate products first appeared in grocery stores, introducing the first mass-marketed gourmet products to lift us above the Worcestershire sauce and Heinz Chili Sauce that for decades had been the go-to kitchen condiments, one of their early items was a dill-mustard sauce that was perfect on baked, broiled or grilled fish or chicken. (White wine Worcestershire also appeared at about that time, as Americans palates got more adventuresome, but it, too, disappeared years ago.) This is a pretty good facsimile and makes for an easy quick meal from poached or baked salmon. It can also be thinned to make a dipping sauce for seafood fondue.

I have used this mustard before, and ordered it more than once. The flavor is special and subtle, and I use it sometimes to dress things other than gravlax, like cold cauliflower or green beans. The only thing that surprised me this time was to get it in a regular jar with a brown screw-up lid instead of the particular jar it came in before. But the taste is more important than the jar, therefore so be it.Best mustard around.

Mustard jar arrived broken, mustard spilled out all over packaging, had to throw away. Very disappointed.

It came in a jar, not the glass shown. I prefer the glass. The mustard is great.

I love this mustard. This is the second jar I have bought. It is great on sandwiches, deviled eggs or anything you use mustard in.When the jar is empty you still have a cute little glass to drink from!

Bought this on a whim to try as looked like something very good. This is the very best, ordered more & will continue !! Absolutely AWSOME ! !

I love this mustard and I have never liked mustard before in my life. To the point where if my husband kissed me after he ate it on his sandwich it would make me gag. Seriously. But this mustard is great on my sandwiches and makes everyone ask “who made the potato salad?”. They stopped selling it at Whole Foods near me so I was thankful to find it here, thanks Jeffrey lol. Anyway, highly recommend giving this a try!!

The wonderful fragrance was the first thing I noticed when I opened the first bubble wrap and saw the jar through the second bubble wrap. The lid was not on the jar and mustard was everywhere inside the second bubble wrap. The product is not returnable.
