e.l.f. Shimmering Facial Whip, Spotlight, 0.34 Ounce

I love this stuff! You can get it for way cheaper at Target or the ELF website, but since I don't live near Target and shipping would make the cost greater on their website, I opted to getting it hereI've previously purchased this product and really liked it. I stopped using a long time ago, but I recently picked it up again.When it first applies, the Lilac shade looks like it could practically be a blush. It seemed SO pinky pigmented when I first put it on! However, after a minute or two, the product color really fades and leaves behind a delightful highlight color.I like using this on my cheekbones as a lovely highlight. I have EXTREMELY pale skin; lighter than the lightest foundation shade. I also have very strong yellow undertones, so color matching can be very difficult for me. However, this looks great! I've tried this in the "Spotlight" color, which is white and I find it to be too strong and not as good of a highlighter.This works well on cheekbones and eyelids. I find it's not as useful on the eyelids, but you can use it in the corner of your eyes for a little color. I have very sensitive eyes and skin and haven't had a single problem with this.PROS:Amazing highlight(can be a con) Pinky color fades into barely any colorLasts and lasts!Smells greatDOES NOT bother my sensitive skinValue level 1000CONS:Kind of expensive on Amazon, but a good option if you don't have Target (still cheap for a highlight!)Scented (if you're sensitive to that, be careful)This product is so worth it!

It my first sort of highlighter. Purchased this shade and hoped that it won't be too pinky. It was. I am light-medium with yellow undertone. I apply it on my cheekbones, brow bone, chin and cupids bow and it looks the best on cheekbones, everywhere else it is too pink and unnatural as if I applied glittery blush. Shimmer is very nice. Application is a bit complicated since you need to apply only a small amount of it and blend VERY well, otherwise it will leave a "milky way" on your face. I apply it with my fingertips or small contour brush and blend with fingers or sponge. A little tip: don't use ANY or use little shimmery products if your skin is textured (i.e small pimples and blemishes) cause it will like more uneven with shimmer.

For the price, I would definitely recommend this product. It shows up really well as a highlight and is just shimmery enough without being glittery. As an added bonus, it makes my skin feel super soft wherever I apply it. As other reviews mentioned, the product does separate and you get either all cream, all liquid, or a mix of the two. Shaking doesn't seem to help, but I don't mind because the liquid part still looks the same on your skin, you just have to work a little more to apply it.

I love this e.l.f. Shimmering Facial Whip in Pink Lemonade! I love cream blushes, and when I wear this particular blush, I get more compliments about my skin glowing and my face looking younger. I am 62 years young, and I love the subtle shimmer. I read a critical review about someone looking like a "clown" when applying this product, but here's the trick: You only need to squeeze out a tiny bit, about the size of a rice kernel, for each cheek! I have dry skin, and this product also adds a little bit of moisture to my face. I tend to choose blushes that err on the side of a "rose" or "mauve" color, so I hope this helps, when thinking about the right color for you. I truly love this creamy blush!

I love this stuff ok so ill star by saying that i use this as a highlighter mostly i don't really know what its supposed to be for i also put it on my eyelids sometimes and on my lips sometimes too but mostly just highlighter and i'm not really a fan of the overly highlighted shiny metal robot face looking glitter kind of highlight i'm more so a fan of just a hint of shimmer on the cheekbones just really subtlety, this product could easily do either look it is super easy to use and really nice and smooth. Also a little goes a long ways this tube is going to last me a long time you get so much product for the price and its super high quality

I know this is an old product since I'm pretty sure it's discontinued. I used to purchase it all the time years ago but this tube was super runny (like shiny water) - as in, total liquid, no cream. It ran off the back of my hand before I could mix it in with my moisturizer. However. The color is as I recall and once mixed, highlighted lightly to give a healthy glow when applied with the moisturizer. I won't buy another simply because it does flow everywhere but for shine? It's beautiful.

Okay so when I bought this I loved it, it was really beautiful on and was pretty easy to apply, but after a few uses it started to separate, and I wasn't really able to get it back together aside from opening the container and mixing it back together. When I go to use it shimmery, clear liquid squirts out, and the pink color is left behind or comes out way after the liquid. Maybe mine was just defective, but definitely order with caution or expect to mix it back together before using.

I have the shimmering facial whip in pink lemonade, and that one is actually a "whip". This arrived as a thin liquid. It's difficult to use, and I have to be really careful not to get it everywhere. I basically dribble a little bit of it onto the back of my hand, dab my finger in that, and dab my finger where I want the shimmer. The shimmer itself is really nice--it's really just reflective, doesn't give you a white stripe on your face, which I like. Great for looking like you're just naturally glowing. If the texture was the same as the other facial whip I have, this would be getting 5 stars hands down, but the fact that it's a runny liquid nearly made me toss it. Liquid highlights have their place, don't get me wrong, but that's not what I thought I was buying here, and it's certainly in the wrong container for that.

I wanted to highlight my cheek bones and my upper eyebrow area i recieved two small tubes.The consistency Is quite sticky but very movable looks great on and last all day really love this product and will be buying more when i run out.Bonus it lasts for ages

This product has been discontinued so this must be old stock - arrived ok but it had separated out and wouldn’t blend.

Absolutely love it, also has a nice, bit lime-ish smell, not disturbing at all, it has a very nice color, can mix it easily with foundation as well.

Too thick consistency , won't buy again.

Just what I was looking for! Does not disappoint!
