Had read a couple of reviews that this battery did not last long or was DOA. However after a couple or three weeks my battery is doing fine. I cannot complain. The one difference I found is the battery is actually a little lower in capacity than specified here. On the battery it says 5100 mAh instead of the 5600 mAh. This is actually based upon voltage of which the 5100 mAh actually applies to the laptop. But I'm not complaining IF the battery lasts 3 years. If it fails beforehand, I'll be back here and post about it. IF I am able.Michael

good for a couple of months and then deteriorates to zero hours in 6 months
The battery lasted only for 6 months before it stopped holding a charge at all. Now it does not even hold a charge! The unit is in the UK, for my non-technical friend.

Decent battery.
It is definitely an improvement over my old battery, which is completely gone. But it doesn't seem to hold as much charge as the original one did when it was new. It lasts about 2 hours before dying.
