Because I do so much gardening for work, I tend to lose the fork. Last time I painted the handle orange and it was much easier to see. I always stick it in the ground when I set it down or lay it on a pad, never just lay it on the ground. I had this for 3 years before I lost it again (lots of leaves in a huge yard so its there somewhere.) Anyway, I liked it because the connection from the handle to the fork is stronger than others I have seen.

This hand fork is sharp, and the angle is really good for sliding under weeds and popping them out of the soil easily. I have many beds on my 1/2 acre and I am picky about my gardening tools. I am a 5'-3" woman without man-sized hands and this works great for me. I have fairly sandy soil so that helps, but this is a workhorse tool that makes the pesky task of weeding faster and easier. I like this tool so much I returned to get another, only to find them sold out! I hope they come back into stock!

I use this fork a lot and here is AZ where the soil is often dry and hard, I have dug up a lot of roots of weeds and it has been great. Sometimes, something (usually a tree root or stones) prevents fork movement so I never try to force it as almost anything so small would bend or break. I highly recommend it.

I am a professional gardener and bought both the "Classic" and "Dewitt" hand fork at the same time to compare. Although not as nice as the Dewitt this hand fork does the job at less than half the price. Now ask me which you'll find me using more? For the price this is a good hand fork and is probably far superior to the tools most "gardeners" (Most my clients personal tools are CRAP) are using today to weed and cultivate. I have one complaint: what's up with the four decorative groves on the handle. They serve no practical purpose and collect moist soil. Obviously designed by some one who never intended to use the tool.

I am a professional gardener. This is my go to tool for gardening. You can dig and weed. This particular Brad is super sturdy. I like in the west where we have tones of clay and rock in our soil. This tool makes life so much easier to weed. Even if you hit a rock while digging; you can use it to lift the rock out and the tool won’t break.

This product is made of inferior materials. The metal fork easily bent while working in the garden.

I've been looking for a fork like this for a long time. Misplaced the one like this I had several years ago. Love using this one so much I went ahead and bought a second (insurance in case I misplace another). Easy to use and do a great job of trying to get bermuda grass out of the flowerbeds.
