OK BUT
Really great brand, factory second with slight bridge & NUT issues. The action was higher than normal. I replaced bridge, pickup & nut. Adjusted truss & added new strings. Was a nice guitar before, but is a really great guitar now.

Guitar
We are very pleased with this. Not playing in bands but sit around at home playing and this guitar has good sound. If you’re just starting out it makes a difference in sound if you buy a little better than starter guitars. Decent price and hooks up to an amp.

It has a very good sound; however
The guitar was smaller than I had anticipated. It has a very good sound; however, and I am impressed with the ease of playing it has. The action is close making cords sound clear. They are easy to reach. The wide nut gives adequate room to make each cord. When amplified, it only needs moderate volume. I find no flaws and it is finished as specified yet its general appearance is not stunning. I am enjoying playing the guitar and all required in setting the unit up was to tune it. I could play it immediately. I am pleased to note the neck has a tuning rod to improve the action. I feel I made a good purchase and think it will fill my needs and I anticipate hours of enjoying the unit.

These guitars are underbuilt for longevity.
I read a few bad review on this guitar but still took a chance. I build guitars from scratch at home. This guitar has a bridge plate that is insufficient to support the string tension on the bridge saddle. the saddle has bent the wood to the point where it has cracked like so many others have said about this guitar. Alos it came unplayable with one very bad high fret that was some how dinged and lifted. I was able to use a fret hammer and tap he fret down to a point where the guitar wont buzz. It's too bad that this bridge has failed as the bridge is one of the most important parts of the guitars playability. The rest of the guitaris rather nice except the sloppy fret job and the poorly fit neck to body with a huge seam filled with filler. I will modify the bridge myself in my shop to make it sturdy and playable. I have the skills to do this but so does Ibanez. Ibanez really needs to improve the bridge plate so it can support the bridge saddle. Such an easy design fix it boggles the mind why ibanez , a reputable guitar maker would release such a poorly designed bridge. the only thing that makes any sense is it is designed to fail as this is just a beginner guitar and eventually any player would want to upgrade to something better. Designed obsolescence in action here. If these two things were improved, this guitar would be well worth the money, #1 a stronger bridge and bridge saddle design, #2 a better fret job without sharp ends and high frets that create string buzz, a better fret level job. I live in the middle of nowhere so Amazon returns are not an option for me as I have to drive 2 hours to closest mail drop off. So I'm stuck with this guitar and will fix it myself , like I said. Good thing I can do that and I'm willing to put in my time and materials do do this.

Great Quality guitar for beginners.
I’m just starting out playing guitar and I was looking for something that I could actually play and wouldn’t be a hunk of junk coming out of the package. Some things I didn’t know was apparently you want your guitar to be completely glued together with high quality glue. That helps it stay in tune while it’s warming up this guitar’s neck is bolted in; But this guitar isn’t 600+ dollars it’s barely 300 and it comes with the ability to plug into a amp and a tuner built in. It gives you the room to grow into an intermediate guitar player. I now have a quality guitar that looks like Willy Nelson’s Trigger for a reasonable price and can say dream about pricer guitars while I save up and learn enough to justify buying a more expensive one.I’m also 25 and 6’2 the guitar feels great in my hands if your worried about length.

Good guitar for veteran players as well as beginners
The compact size is a comfortable fit. Sound is full. On a negative side, the fret edges were not properly dressed. 5 minutes with a fret file corrected the issue. This may only be my particular guitar.

Beautiful instrument
I waited a few weeks before writing this review because, well, you never know, right?Gorgeous instrument, the on-board electronics are fantastic, it's an inch slimmer than I expected from a classical guitar, but absolutely no difference in tone or volume, the tuning keys are superior, and plugged in, it's phenomenal.I'm no rookie--been playing for 60 years and have 14 quality guitars in my collection, but I sold my Yamaha classical 40 years ago and regretted it ever since. I heard a few classical pieces a few months ago and thought I'd get back into it and believe me, this was the perfect guitar to do it. Except for a little glue over-run at the sound hole, it is pristine and I couldn't ask for a better playing experience.
