Samurai Chai Mate Tea by Teavana

Disappointed in the product quality due to the lack of size in which impacts the flavor. You have to use more product to receive the old Teavana flavor. It is more like you receive the crumbs of the product instead of product - bottom of the container - real poor quality. I recommend you skip this product and try something else. I purchased the 8oz size that you are not able to return the product.

This tea is a shadow of what it once was. Honestly, they should have to start an entirely new item page at this point, cause they are riding on their historical success of what it once was. I ordered this to share with friends, and I wanted to share my favorite tea. I haven't had it in years, but use to drink it every day. This is not the same strength as it was. It tasted watered down and weak.I'd recommend one of the clones of it, as this is not

Note: Ayurvedic Chai tea was combined with this tea in the samples offered by Teavana. Perhaps, this is why some reviewers do not find the taste of this tea as strong or spicy. I know this, because I still have the tin with the label placed on the side identifying the tea mixture.I enjoy this tea. Yet, I also purchase, as when the Tevana stores were open, the Ayurvedic Chai tea from Amazon and mix the two together with Tevana brand Belgian rock sugar. The Ayurvdevic sold on Amazon is not a Tevana brand tea and is alot more expensive than the Chai Mate.

I love chai tea, and this is definitely a favorite of mine. The only thing is that for some reason, the batch that I bought in-store seemed more potent I guess you can say than this one. The aroma of this batch wasn't as strong, and although I use the same measurements when making my tea, the taste isn't as strong either. I either have to add more or make less.

When Starbucks bought out Teavana they changed the flavors of many teas. This one is expensive and does not taste good. I can make myself drink a cup here and there but it is definitely different from what Teavana offered. :(

Not authentic- was cut with something else. Very weak. I had to throw it away because I have no idea what is in it. Certainly not authentic Teavana tea. Also came in non Teavana packaging.

Ordered the 8oz back and only received 6.4 oz. Definitely returning since this tea is expensive.

This tea is amazing! I'm not a huge fan of chai tea because it's just too intense, but I decided to try this after reading the reviews. It smells a little sweet and a little spicy when you first open the pouch, with just a hint of fennel. Once brewed, the taste and aroma are so soothing and delicious, and definitely not harsh like most chai teas. It doesn't need any added sweetener, either.
