Follow up Review - DON'T BUY IF YOU WANT HOOVER TO HONOR THEIR WARRANTY.
2nd UPDATE:I managed to secure the wheel axels using epoxy and so far it’s holding up fairly well. I notice Amazon says I bought the “vacuum only” model, not true! I got the kit with the extra battery and a bunch of attachmentsUPDATEThe base plate is poorly designed and the plastic surrounding the rear wheel axels breaks apart. I contacted Hoover because, hey, they've got something like a 3 or 5 year warranty right? Well Hoover passed the buck and said buying through Amazon is a 3rd party seller so the warranty isn't valid!Don't get me wrong I loved how well this vac performed but HOOVER WONT HONOR THE WARRANTY!!! It has a broken base plate because they designed it poorly (see other reviews talking about wheels falling off).--------------------This is a great little vacuum - I've been using it daily for nearly a week now. It's very maneuverable so getting around chair legs, tables is easy. Suction seems to be pretty good and it cleaned up the American Eskimo Dog fur from my entry rug with ease. About 1/4 of the fur ended up getting wound around the beater brush but 3/4 of the fur went into the dust cup and that's great. I had a Dyson and it would have 1/5 of the fur wound up in the bar, 3/5 in the dust cup and leave 1/5 in the carpet! The Dysan was lousy. The beater bar is EASY to pull out, you don't need any tools, and it's easy to clean. American Eskimo fur is really difficult to get out of rugs and this vac did a pretty thorough job of it - no complaints. It has an LED headlight that is fairly bright and does help when you're getting into dark corners or under furniture.Batteries provide a combined runtime of about 50 minutes, not 50 minutes per battery. They don't make that clear in the description. The vac came with a 2nd washable filter so you can always have clean and dry filter on hand.

Very disappointing
I bought this for trying out cordless vacuuming and loved it at first, however I got frustrated soon since it does not pick up any clumpy debris like larger dirt particles and for ex. cornflakes etc. Only things that are completely flat. The suctioning power is also very much lower when you use extension accessories and accessories cannot be attached directly to the hose, but only to the handle, which is almost never desirable (for me). And then after a couple of months one of the wheels came off, because its poorly designed wheelbase broke. Hoover to me stood for quality and excellence, but after this very disappointing experience I will never buy any Hoover product again.

I own a Dyson V6 Absolute and although it is a very fine machine. There are 2 things I did not ...
Ok so here is my adventure into the vacuuming world. I own a Dyson V6 Absolute and although it is a very fine machine. There are 2 things I did not enjoy too much about it 1. too expensive (wife wanted it) 2. Battery life... I know it was designed for quick pickups and things of that sort but 20 mins? And that's not even using the boost mode. Hence why I bought this. 50 Mins usage!!!! OMG that was the first thing that came into my eye in the advert. I read user reviews and thought I'd pull the gun and try it out. First off the POSITIVES. Weight. Pretty light considering for whole house cleaning I have a Dyson Ball. Although it vacuums everything in sight, it weighs a ton. You can detach the canister to carry it around to vacuum stairs. Battery life. Lasts a really long time! I like the fact that the battery disconnects and you can charge outside the unit. CONS. Suction power is nowhere near my V6. This thing had trouble with cheerios... So for the portability and versatility this thing gets 5 stars. Using it for what it was meant to do. VACUUM. 2 stars. I settle on 3 stars. Design is great and concept is on point. Need to up the power a lot!!! Come on Hoover!

Buying another brand of vacuum.😡😡😡😡
This is a revised review. I purchased this vacuume two years ago. Worked great loved it. Great five year warranty. Right. Last week the wheel fell off. Contacted Hoover, no authorized repair in our town. Ok, we will order the part and fix it, Part not available through Hoover. Went to another parts source, plastic base plate is thirty four dollars. Now if Hoover does not carry parts for a vacuum with a five year warranty that needs repair in two years what good is a warranty? This is the second of this type of vacuum I have purchased. The other one? When you turn sharply right it shuts off, you have to straighten it out and restart it. Time to find another vacuum. It won’t be A Hoover.

Good vac but with a fatal flaw
For the first few months I was very happy with this vacuum cleaner but it has one fatal flaw. My kitchen and dining room have fairly deep grout lines between the tiles. The plastic around the rear wheel axles is not strong enough to withstand pushing it over the grout joints so it cracks, allowing the rear wheels angle up and rub on the wheel wells making it hard to push and raising the front too high to be effective at picking up dirt. There is no easy way to fix this. I disassembled it and filled all the voids with JB Weld but on the left side there is too little room to add much reinforcement so the repair will not hold up. That's too bad because otherwise it is a good vacuum.
