This is a perfect fit for the bass, solid construction and latches. The outer covering might not hold up under really heavy traveling/touring, not to robust a material, but for my needs the case is just fine

This is a must have if you are leaving the house with your instrument. This case has held up well with regular gigging. I have not flown with it, but I think it would be fine.
