They work as designed and described.
It is much easier to clean around than the old rubber gasket type that I was using before. It looks much better too. These are not wafer thin especially considering they have a magnetic strip on them. Make sure you measure and have room for one on each side. Mine barely fit without having to move the oven out and adjust it to fit both on it.The magnetic isn't super strong but strong enough to hold it still to make cleaning easy.I'm not sure they are actually worth the asking price, but for how they look and the ease of cleaning, these two pieces are worth it. I only wish that I had purchased them first before the gasket type, but I was trying to save money. Live and Learn.I would purchase again.

Absolutely perfect
The pictures show everything, very clean and simple. I didn't want the normal gap fillers that flap over the edges. My stove is about 1/2" higher than the counters so the popular silicone-type gap fillers would not have looked good to me. Plus they are too big, I prefer the more streamlined look of these. These cling to the side of the stove with magnetic strips and can be positioned exactly where desired. If your stove sits higher than your counters, I recommend these.

Great product, great idea! They do not melt!
This is a fantastic idea and a fantastic product. This came in a pack of 2, we picked the color black because our stove and refrigerator are black. The color matches perfectly. The magnets are very strong, they do not become separated or fall.No more crumbs in the little crack between our appliances and the counter, which is great because it's very hard to clean them up from that small area. These are about 1" too short for the length of our counter, so we positioned them level with the front and left the 1" gap in the back - which works out o.k., because you usually don't spill things on the back 1" of your counter. Some other reviews have said that they melt from the heat of the stove, but we disagree. The one we have by the stove does get warm when we use the burners on the stove that are next to it - but I just checked it and it is not melted at all and the magnet power is still just as strong.Highly recommended!

Well-made narrow range extender.
I needed something maybe 1/8” for the gap between my range and countertop and I wanted the extender to be very narrow. This item seemed perfect but with the magnet it was too wide to fit in the gap. I removed the magnetized strips and it fit perfectly. They stay in place and keep crumbs from falling in the cracks.

Solved the gap problem
These range extenders did exactly what we wanted - added minimal extraneous material but completely filled the gap between the slide-in range top and the adjacent counter top. Made clean up much easier as they created a very nice seal allowing us to wipe from range to counter and back without losing bits down between the two. On the downside, the magnets that are supposed to stick to the range didn't work, but the gap the extenders needed to fill was quite small, so they were held tightly between the range and counter top. Work great!!!

Wonderful idea!
These are perfect to keep food and crumbs from falling between the stove and counter top. My stove sits higher than the counter so the flexible rubber ones did not work. These are magnetic so stay attached to the stove but can be removed easily to clean, though not often necessary. Not sure how I survived without them!

Started to deform after 1 use
I purchased these after looking at other designs. Although a few others had some bad experiences with these, I thought I'd try them first hand.First, the things I liked:I really liked the magnetic strip. After trimming a few inches off one end so they would fit well with my stove, they clicked into place with ease. The magnetic strip provides just the right amount of "grip" so they stay in place. They look good and have a sleek design. They are not too big, and they don't stand out too much. Fit was very good. They covered the gap nicely. I thought "I'm glad I chose these. They look great, fit great, and they fixed the gap issue" Price was also extremely fair at under $25.This was until we used the stove top for the first time.Things I did NOT like.: After one use, the right side gap guard started to deform. We used the front right burner to boil water in a large pot. Granted, this burner is a 20, 000 BTU dual power burner, and we had it up high to get the water boiling quickly. After we were done, I noticed a gap between the stove and gap guard. When I inspected further, I realized that the heat made the gap guard deform on this side. When it deformed, it created a gap large enough for food and crumbs to fall through. This is exactly what these are supposed to prevent. Obviously the material they are made of is not designed for the heat of a stove. This is only after ONE use. I'm sure the deformation would have gotten progressively worse with further use. This is not acceptable at all. The glue holding the magnetic strip to the guard was also softening and the magnetic strip was starting to pull away.Another thing I must mention is that these were shipped in a fairly thin cardboard tube. The tube was only taped at the ends with a single piece of shipping tape. The tape had ripped off one side in transit and the gap guards inside could have easily slipped completely out of the tube. Luckily, both were inside. Packaging could have been much better. Conclusion:I was able to return these for a refund and purchase an all stainless pair that will stand up to the heat. These need to be made from a material that has enough heat resistance to not deform. After all, these are supposed to work on a stove top, right next to the burners. Perhaps the people that do not have any problems with these do not have a stove with as much heating capacity. These might work for some, but will definitely not work for all.Packaging needs to be done more carefully also. Maybe 2-3 layers of tape on the ends instead of just one single layer. Mine could have easily been lost.Hope this helps you to make a more informed decision.

Great gap fillers!
These fill in the gap perfectly! They are magnetic and stick to the oven. They stay in place while cooking and wiping down the area, yet remove easily so you can wipe the strips down to clean and put them back in place.I just received them 2 days ago and they are working well.
