no match for determined critters
We tried these to keep the critters from eating all of our table grapes. They chewed right through these and got all our grapes anyway. They are large enough to fit over large grape clusters easily, and attach easily. Just not strong enough to deter animals from their dinner...

Easy to use, working well so far
So far, so good. The squirrels haven’t gotten through them ... yet! These are relatively easy to use, and a sort of last ditch effort to save my ripening persimmons from my pesky rodent neighbors. Hopefully, they’ll keep working. I can almost taste those persimmons...

Seem to be Working
The jury is still out on these as they are currently covering our domestic grapes, but so far, so good.

Bags just disintegrated
Bought this to protect persimmon from pests. Did not work since they easily chewed through the bags. But that's not the reason for the one-star rating. Although the pests could tear the bags, the fact that all 100 persimmon were bagged served as a deterrent and the pests left most of the fruit alone after molesting 3-4. Although my fruit survived the season, the bags did not - they disintegrated over a period of 5 months. I live in CA - the elements aren't that harsh so I can only conclude the bags are of extremely poor quality. Sad.

THESE BAGS EVEN HELP WITH MELONS!
While they are too small for large melons, the birds started ruining the fruit when it was still little and these are perfect for the melons until they pass softball size and need bigger protective bags. I had to start covering them when they were only pea size and they are growing great inside the bags with no damage!

My promogranade stopped growing in bag. Useless product. Just get scare tape from Amazon.com and install scare tape where there is light a day and for night get solar light to between scare tape and tree to scare of animals.

Poor Design
I was really excited to see if these bags will protect my persimmons, but not so. The velcro that is supposed to seal the bag is not long enough to wrap around the bag opening and the placement of the velcro is too close to the opening that it would not allow fruit to be secured inside the bag. The squirrels were able to get inside the fruit and chewed on the bags.I only have 2 left in the tree that I wrapped with a sandwich bag . Waste of money.
