I was hesitant about wanting to write this but I decided to; to alleviate anyone’s decision on purchasing this charger. Upon plugging my laptop into this charger , after about 20 mins I smelled something off coming from the fan area, when I felt the charging end; it was hot and very soft on the plastic part. I immediatly went to remove it only to to notice that the charger had somehow fused itself to the inside of my laptop. It wasn’t very long after that my laptop went blank. I’ve tried to use another one with no avail. Bottom line this cheap charger fried my laptop. Buyer beware. I sent a message to the company and they just refund my money which I expected but nothing else. Not sure what I want but move on to something more reliable.

Great replacement part for a non-functioning power adapter. Fits perfectly, works quickly, even shuts off when charged. Does everything a power adapter is supposed to and a great price.Revised 7/6/2015 - After less than 2 months of use this is no longer working! Really 2 months?!? What a piece of junk! When it was working, it got really, really hot. Now the wire is breaking. I do not recommend this product at all !!!!!

The battery worked great in my old school Gateway computer. Definitely a good value. It worked perfectly compatible with everything.

Great price, great job shipping! Only concern is it gets scary hot when charging but not to the point of dying, but it's so cheap I still gave 4 stars. I replaced the part of the cord that plugs into the outlet on one end and the charger on the other end, (with the part that is still good on my broken Gateway orig. charger, a higher quality cord), and it seems to charge without overheating now.

Temporary use just like any other generic brand but worth the money

Product was as described, and works well.The only reason I did not give 5 stars is this in total length it is about 6 inches shorter than orginial

Worked for 2months then problems not fully charging Gateway NV57H laptop which had a 65watt charger. Finally after 3months not charging at all and not recognized by laptop. Replaced with a different brand that is working correctly.

It works it is a good cheap power supply when your power supply dies get another one. It works what can I say.
