Not Bad
These aren't bad. Well, at least the rice and beef meals were pretty good. The chicken was very dry (no fats/lipids), and was almost painful to eat if you didn't add something to it with plenty of lipids in it.

Wise serving size divide by eight
Wise serving sizes are about 200 calories each. To get a usable number of days' supply per bucket, divide the serving size by eight. Freeze dried food storage for a bug out is Ok. But why store this stuff for long term, stay put, needs. Buy canned goods, the same stuff you buy at your grocer every week! Canned goods will last forever, at least longer then you will live. Check it out. The expiration date on a canned good is a Government mandated thing, the seller picks a one to two year date and uses that. Any canned good will outlast you, as long as it is stored in the proper manner. Cool, dry and not large temperature swings. The seller would like you to chuck the expired stuff and buy more, got ya. Wise freeze dryed food are Ok at best, very expensive for the portions. Again, OK if your starving, but give me a two year old can of Dinty Moore!!

Can VS buckets of food
You probably can get food from the store cheaper, but it takes to much room to store. These bucket just stack in the corner. Easy to grab and throw in your car.
