These fit me perfectly and they don't bunch up in the crotch!!! I'm 5'5, 145lb and usually a size 8 for reference and I ordered a medium in A- light blue. The fringe and distressed areas are cute. Also, it has big pockets in the front! They go almost all the way down to the hem. Zipper quality seems kind of cheap but I imagine these will hold up for awhile.Edit: I also ordered these in white and have included size comparisons between M and L as sizing is notoriously difficult with offbrand clothing on Amazon. The fit between M and L is subtle but makes a huge difference in comfort. For example the large bunches up in the crotch but the medium forms to curves just right. I kept the white shorts in Medium ♥️

I’m a size 12-/14 so shorts are always hit or miss. I got the xl. These fit perfectly, they’re comfortable, and looked great! I haven’t found a comfortable pair of jean shorts that fit right in a long time!

OK, I am well over 50, and grew up in the first generation to cut off their jeans and fray the edges. I thought my era of wearing these was long gone, but I recently lost over 20lbs. so I thought, lightening deal, why not try ? I am a size 10 in pants, and ordered a large based on other reviews, since I cannot stand tight fitting clothes due to a slightly herniated disk right where most waistbands hit. They are adorable, lightweight and have a decent amount of stretch while still looking like authentic denim. I chose the most faded jean color, because you wouldn't cut the jeans until they were worn out and ripped at the knees ! They look great. I am so tickled with this purchase, you can't imagine.OK, so fast forward a year, and I wanted an extra pair of these in both denim and white and ordered the same size as last year (2019). I could barely close them, and I have lost weight since last year. I compared them to my old ones, and they are about 2 inches smaller around the waist. I am a size 10 - the large fit last year. So I reordered in XL, and they fit fine, perhaps just a tad loose. But holding them up with my pair from last year, the new XL matches up with the old L almost exactly. So, since my earlier stellar review made them a hit, the manufacturer decided to cut corners and save an smidgen of material on each pair ?My conclusion is they are still fabulous shorts - but now (2020) you need to size up.

These are so cute! I took the reviews about them running small a little too seriously, though! I’m 5’7” 150 pounds and a mom with a tummy to show for it, so while my hips are relatively small and I’ve got skinny legs and thighs, I always have to go up a size for high waisted things — especially tight fitting jeans! For low rise shorts or those made of stretchy fabrics (like you know, jog shorts...) I’m usually a medium / size 8, for high waisted denim shorts I’m a large / size 10 or even 12. So then with these supposedly running way small I thought I should go with the XL. Big mistake! I literally can’t keep them up, they fall right down! Yikes! I’m pretty bummed cause I actually caught these on a flash sale and wish I could just exchange for the right size at that same price but alas, live and learn... I don’t know if I would be a medium or large in these, I’m thinking a medium which is crazy cause that’s a size down for me in these types of shorts! So I’m super confused about the reviews and have no idea if mine helps but hopefully someone out there has proportions like mine and finds this useful. The shorts themselves are SOOO CUTE!!! Just need the right size!Ps took photos of the shorts in different lighting but they’re photographing darker than they really are. True color is lighter than my pictures show but darker than seller’s photo, it’s like right between the two lolUpdate — finally caught these on sale again, got two pairs in Large and they fit like a dream :) These are the cutest, comfiest shorts!

I weigh 123 lbs and I’m 4 11. Originally I bought a medium and that was too big. I am pretty curvy for someone my size and the small fit perfectly. I’m usually a size 5/25 7/27. So the small was perfect. Someone who is too skinny is going to look like they have a flat butt if they wear a small.

I go back and forth from a 16- 20. I currently fit in mostly 18-20 for plus size clothing so I read the size chart and the reviews and decided to order the XXL in blue and they fit nicely. Not too tight and not too loose. I am pear shape and have a slight pudge in the tummy area and again it pull up and buttoned up fine without a fuss.

Great wash and fit. I'm 5'5" 168lbs and typically a size large. I ordered a large in these and the fit is great. The length in the back is appropriate while still being "short." The waist is just over the love handle and right below belly button. The cut on the side of the thigh makes moving around easy. I'm a mom of 3, and these are great for home or out, dressed up or down. I like the fringe too, it's about an inch long rather than just being literally cut off. I have a long torso and thick thighs and these still hit in the right place on my leg. Will order in other colors.
