Just nearly exactly it.
This was near perfect for what I was looking for. Build quality is off the charts, the metal pads that come with it are awesome. Holds phone securely. Took my Bluetooth away but wasn't using it anyway and my phone is a Huawei so most likely not the doing of the amount. Again everything is awesome about this mount except for 1 tiny problem similar mentioned to other reviews. The main use is to hold a phone to my motorcycles gas tank. However due to high gloss of my paint and possibly even thickness of the paint this mount does not hold beyond beyond 50 mph. Using a Newton scale yes newtons, it had about 9 Newton's, just a scooch over 9, of pulling force which is about 2lbs. I understand there is loss of pull in magnets depending on the density, distance, metal makeup to affect the pulling force. However it may need a rubber strap with magnets to solidify this as use with a gas tank as I worry it may wiggle its way off while riding. Overall still a great buy and nothing on my bars.

Need I say more? Buy it and never worry about losing your phone.
Love it, I previously purchased a supermount for my phone because of all those ads on Facebook. My old phone flew off at a mere 35mph and was destroyed.... After reading reviews for the showoff supermount it seems to be a known problem. My fault for not doing research but seeing as I lost a $800 phone I decided not to cheap out again. So fast forward to a week ago I come across this Freakmount and was intrigued because of the earth magnets. I've used rare earth magnets in my own business for years and decided to give it a go. I can finally say I have no worries about my phone flying off my motorcycle I have a Ridgid frame Sportster and it's not a nice ride over bumps and my phone doesn't budge a millimeter. Will be grabbing another one for my Electra glide. Keep up the great work and I'll keep coming back!P.S I paid triple the price for my show off mount then I did with this product and my freak mount is 10 times better.

It works for what I need it for
I don't have a motorcycle but I needed something to hold a spare phone as a peephole camera on the front door. Me and my girlfriend live in a apartment complex and we do not trust anyone that lives here. Not to mention my girlfriend can't see out the peephole so I thought this will help. Any way I was searching on Amazon for a phone mount and a countersunk neodymium magnet. I was going to make my own until I saw the FreakMount. I decided I will give it a try and I'm happy that I did. I put the mount on the door and it was hard to move the mount around. My neighbor slamming her door probably won't make the FreakMount budge. Here are two pictures sorry that the door looks like crap. The white paint is coming off. All I need now is a 20ft. micro USB cord to keep the phone plugged in. I highly recommend purchasing this product.

Strong magnet, but spring weakens over time if riding an older rigid Harley.
Built strong. Magnet holds well. Easy to mount phone. I used this on a few trips about 600 miles and it held my Android phone well even at speeds of 90 mph! Unfortunately from the vibrations of my sportster which has a rigid mounted motor and stiffer suspension than stock the spring that holds the phone in place had weakened slightly so that if I go full throttle in first or second gear the vibrations will cause the phone to slip. Almost lost the phone on a 0-60 mph full throttle pull 😅 anyway if you ride a newer rubber mounted Harley or a sport bike you'll be fine and I guarantee the phone isn't gonna move 👌

Good Product Overall
Great addition to my motorcycle iPhone navigation system, mounts firmly and discretely on center of tank for easy access if needed (eliminates need for bulky handlebar mount). Springs are squeaky, also note this works best with slim line protective phone cases, as side clamps are low profile. The two extra metal plates are very helpful for non-magnetic surfaces (I doubled mine up for maximum magnetic effect). Thanks FEAKMOUNT.

Try it. You won’t regret it.
I was surprised how well this works. The magnet held to my gas tank perfectly (FYI it comes with tiny metal discs with double sided tape in case you don’t have something metal for it to hold onto). I rode 400 miles with it yesterday and I had zero problems even at 80 mph. It did not move unless I moved it, showed no signs of weakness, and held my phone extremely well. Some added bonuses; it doesn’t clutter up my handlebars or block my gauges and it has a small profile. If I’m trying to find a con I would say the rubber “teeth” scratched my leather case, but honestly I’d rather have that than a shattered phone.

Doesn't stick well to metal
It's magnetic but the strength isn't freakishly strong. I can push glide the mount all around my gas tank and it falls off when it gets to a rounded edge. This could probably be solved by using a more tacky type rubber. The teeth are hard plastic and dig little gouges into my phone case. The spring clamp however is nice and strong, but that's irrelevant if the clamp will just fall off with the phone.I might recommend this product for the inside of a motor vehicle or in a location that if it falls off it won't be destroyed. It didn't work on my motorcycle. I'm not even going to try it on the freeways. I think the current pricing is about double what it is worth.

Needs an XL to match an XL
I purchased the product to hold my phone during motorcycle rides. The magnet is strong and the grip considerable. I did not have any issues with rough roads or at highway speeds. However, after 7 rides in, the springs and mechanism gave out. I have a larger sized cell phone with a slim case (the average by today's standards) and it required the grip to pulled to it's fully open position to accommodate the phone. I'm not sure if it was the act of pulling the device wide open or the constant pressure placed on the device from the size of the phone. It was great while it lasted.
