Magnet not strong enough to hold faucet
It's a beautiful facuet. But, the magnet isn't strong enough to securely hold the faucet. So, if you're working in the sink and bump it, the hose falls into the sink. If you reach behind the faucet to turn on the disposer, the faucet falls into the sink. etc.

Updated the Kitchen
This is the second Blanco 441407 that we bought. The first one is left with the house that we sold. Now we are replacing the kitchen faucet with the second one because we like it so much.

Nothing works right with this faucet!
I just don't know where the positive reviews come from. As far as I am concerned this high priced faucet is just junk. Unfortunately I bought it a few months before I installed it and could not return it to get my money back. It appears to be a fine faucet when you take it out of the box....it weighs a lot and has some substance to it. Don't let this fool you....it just does not work well at all. The very worst thing is that the magnet that holds the spout in position is just not powerful enough to keep it there and the darn thing falls off at the slightest touch. It is so weak in fact that sometimes it just falls off all on its own and just dangles there and gets in the way. This is very annoying particularly with a faucet that costs close to 500 bucks. The water flow is also very minimal and the lever just does not seem to work well and requires a lot of playing around with before you get a temperature response. There is also no indication of where Hot is which makes it real difficult and dangerous for guests. Don't wast your hard earned money on this crap.

Great faucet
My husband and I have been using our Blanco Culina Semi-Pro Faucet for over a yar now. It is beautiful to look at and really functions well. We love that it is easy to turn on the water by pushing the handle with an arm when we've been touching chicken or some other poulltry and don't want to touch the handle with out hands. The sprayer has a dual function, allowing either a steady signle stream or more of a shower-type spray. The magnet is working great still. This is a beautiful and functional addition to our kitchen.

Not durable long-term
The faucet is beautiful and very functional. We installed it 2.5 years ago and expected it to last the lifetime of our kitchen, particularly given how expensive it was. We love the style, flexibility, and versatility; however, over the past year the metal at the edge of the water spout has begun to peel off, revealing the white plastic under the metal veneer. That is bad, but worse is the sharpness of the peeling metal — I sliced open my finger for the third time this month just grabbing the faucet arm. Expected more durability and longevity from this product.

We love this faucet
We love this faucet! Specifically, the coiled hose is much tighter than most ... and far nicer looking. Other similar faucets have physical parts that must click together... this faucet is just a magnet that makes it much easier to remove and put back in it's holder. We bought a cheaper magnetic faucet then returned it and bought this one.

Beautiful high quality faucet.
This is a beautiful faucet. It is heavy too, not flimsy like the one it replaced. I love the clean modern look to it with a flexible hose without the big exterior coil around the hose. I'm glad I got the 1.8 GPM instead of the higher flow for several reasons. It does not splash up beyond the sink even at full flow. I do however have a deep sink - 10" deep and 30" wide. We are on well water here so conserving a bit of water each time appeals to me. The spray is concentrated (narrow) and easy to control. The spray reaches every part of the sink. I appreciate that the temperature lever does not have to go back towards the backsplash as there isn't a lot of room there. I could not get my previous faucet set fully to cold as the lever hit the tile. This one adjusts forward, towards the user. Hot on top then cold is downward. You can turn it off at any point. My plumber's observations were that this is a high quality product. The water hoses were just long enough to reach in my case. The countertop is granite on a plywood base and he thought the part that descends through the countertop could have been a bit longer but maybe my wood base under the granite is extra thick. But he says that every time he installs a faucet for me... He did manage to get it installed quickly and it is quite sturdy. I think having the magnet instead of having to clip the nozzle to the arm in an upward motion will keep it from rocking in the future. This is my third faucet in 8 years - the first was Aquabrass - so expensive and it only lasted about 2 years. The second was a cheapie from Costco and it too leaked near the end. I was going to have him take it apart, try to get a replacement cartridge and put it back together but it didn't seem to be worthwhile. There are fewer sections to this faucet - so fewer places for it to leak. He also said that getting a replacement cartridge from Blanco will be a lot easier than Aquabrass. I'm sure I'll need one eventually because our water is so hard. The ease of cleaning hard water deposits from the nozzle appealed to me. But honestly - I bought it because of the way it looks. The stainless finish doesn't show fingerprints and looks great with the stainless appliances and brushed sink. I'm glad I bought it. Hopefully I will feel the same way in a few years. Maybe more than a few years. Wouldn't that be great?

Good and bad about this faucet
The media could not be loaded. The water pressure for rain flow is very strong. It is extremely difficult to find the sweet spot between off and high flow. Also, because the faucet sits quite high, almost every single time when I turn on the faucet to wash dishes, water will splash will everywhere onto my countertop and the wall tile. In rare occasions that I am able to find the sweet spot for a lower water pressure but then I don't have enough water pressure to keep the rain flow properly. The slim outlet design looks good but has its disadvantage. The rain shower covers a radius no bigger than the faucet outlet itself. You could end up using more water as it doesn't allow you to wash a wider area at once.It is indeed very nice piece of faucet, the faucet design is better than many others at the same price range. However, in terms of practicality on a day to day home usage, you will definitely able to find better ones out there.Purchasing decision will come down to whether if you want to scarifice a bit of practicality for aestheticity.-------Additional review after 6 months of use:I noticed that the chrome paint was coming off around the faucet head (manufacturing defects). I contacted Blanco with the issue and they immediately sent a replacement faucet head, which I received in three days. I got to say that Blanco stand behind their product and their warranty is excellent.

A really nice faucet - - looks and feels very high quality ...
A really nice faucet - - looks and feels very high quality and professional, and was a really nice addition to our newly renovated kitchen. It pairs nicely with our Blanco silgranit sink.
