are these 2 1-liter bottles the original, genuine "Produced-in-Italy" estate bottled Sicilian olive oils or are they a blend from other countries?

I already used the 2 bottles; but I also got a 3 liter can, and it is a blend. Although it is delicious. I use it when I want a very high quality EVOO in cooking, and it's also more than good enough for salads and the like.

Is this unfiltered? There are multiple listings that look the same for this, some say unfiltered and some don't. Thanks

It does not say filtered in the card that comes with it from Frantoia, or on the bottle. It says it is cold pressed and made in an antique tradition. It is delicious and we have enjoyed it for many years. We first enjoyed it at a Ritz Carlton restaurant and were lucky to find it was sold on Amazon. It is the only Extra Virgin Olive Oil that I buy.

Is this a first press?

To be officially certified “extra virgin,” an olive oil must be first cold pressed. If it’s not first cold pressed, it can’t qualify as extra virgin olive oil under standards established by the International Olive Council or the California Olive Oil Council.
