I love this towel. Got to tell you though, I actually use it as a blanket. I live in Oklahoma and it gets pretty hot here. I have tried all sorts of throws and blankets and they are too heavy and warm or too porous and let in an annoying amount of wind from the ceiling fan. This towel is perfect. Not too warm, provides insulation from the ceiling fan, and is soft and comfortable.But maybe you actually want it for the pool or the beach. Here is my take on that too. I noticed other reviewer's have said it is thin. It is not. It is more of a medium. Not plush but by no means threadbare. One side is nubby and textured like a regular towel, and the other side is a little softer and smoother. The size is about the dimensions of a full size bed. That is, it will cover the top and not drape over the sides or ends. The pattern is on one side only and the reverse side is white. I think it's a great product. If you are looking for an extra large beach towel/blanket, for whatever reason, I think you would be happy with this one.

Impulse purchase for staging homes. Oversize and looks great as a random prop. Too nice for just a beach towel !

Big towel! Vibrant colors and typical terry towel feel. We were unsure if it was going to be velour but thank goodness it wasn't. It covers the bow seating of our boat and keeps the seats clean when the kids eat and only get half of the food in their mouth.

This beach blanket is a nice size, but it is a very thin material. Beautiful colors. It is just not heavy duty.
