Our 9 year old Kenmore Elite French Door refrigerator quit ...
Our 9 year old Kenmore Elite French Door refrigerator quit cooling. After watching dozens of videos and reading several Google results I was able to determine that one side of the compressor windings had failed. I found the exact replacement compressor here on Amazon for $259 with free shipping. A local appliance repairman removed my old compressor, installed this one, and charged it with coolant for $250. I avoided having to replace a $2500 refrigerator that I should now get another 9 or 10 years out of for a total of $510. That's a win every time!

Our fridge broke...
Very good product. Our fridge died on us and it is only five years old and in great condition. My husband and I were not interested in getting a new fridge if we could help it. Our refrigeration guy put it in in less than an hour and it works awesome.

We ordered one it was quickly delivered. It did not work. It wouldn't pass a simple ohms test. We.returned it and they sent another. Same problem. I do not recommend at all. One star is not deserved
