Powerful but has to stay on charger for full potential
The Acer predator Helios 500 is honestly great for gaming I had no issues. It's powerful enough for any games there's plenty of storage and the 144hz refresh rate is very helpful for fps only down side is it's not a computer to bring to school as it's beefy for a laptop about 8 pounds. But to honestly move around the house it's great but let's be honest your not gonna move this pc if ur getting this big beast. Only downside in all honesty is the batter life off the charger which is understandable I got at least an 1hr 25mn none gaming, gaming it's gonna die quick other then that the laptop is honestly great

Non gamer work use
I bought this because I needed a computer that had the processing power to run a bunch web apps at once as well as had 10 key. My old computer used to freeze because it didn’t have enough ram and I had hit my storage limit so I couldn’t back up my iPhone. This has done everything I need, however has a couple draw backs. This is a big heavy computer not exactly a mobile laptop. Secondly, the battery life is pretty poor and it runs through quickly even on a fully charged battery. (I am not a gamer so I can’t speak to that portion but the screen quality is very good)

Everything you need in one box!
Just purchased this laptop a week ago and I have to say I love it! Keyboard can only do limited color changes n no effects but no problem mine still looks sick plus this thing blows any console out the water. Picture is amazing and this laptop cones ready out the gate! With in mins you ll be downloading games and screen savers. Do your self a favor and get the bigger screen to at 17.3 inches it's perfect! Okay see you bros online!

5400rpm Hard Drive?
I cannot believe a company is selling a laptop with such blazing fast performance, then hobbling it with a sub-standard hard drive. Not very nice for people who might not know any better.

Just works
Awesome laptop, works for everything perfectly. Music production runs smoothly, gaming is awesome.

Great performance laptop
What I like the most: how easy it was to add a second NVMe SSD drive (dedicated to linux) and more RAM, the keyboard (although one light was broken when I received it), thunderbolt and bluetooth 5.0. What is more annoying: the bulky power supply and the position of its plug behind, the limited Acer version of BIOS, the Acer customer service, and other pre-installed Acer software/apps, the horrible Predator logo
