I have never been to India, that said I have nothing to compare this too. I don’t understand the criticism in these comments. Looks like a perfectly good product that does what it’s supposed to. I went back and forth over various versions and brand’s and all have terrible reviews I was scared to order this. I’m starting to believe y’all are professional complainers. Show some gratitude and stop spreading toxicity. Thanks.

Not very strong but holds together fine. Mechanism to take out is easy and that makes it simple. Delivery took long time though.

CAREFUL! We were sold used greasy product
Under the fake claims of the product marked as "New" we got sold what looks like previously used and greasy idli stand. There was no sealed packaging. Be careful of what you buy!

Product arrived dirty
The product itself looks as good as you'd expect, pretty solid quality and easy to take apart and reassemble. Sadly mine arrived with small black smears all over it and dirt under the rim. I washed it, I'll live, but I wish quality control was better.
