It is so amazing & easy & satisfying, the price is right, & the results NEVER DISAPPOINT! 5 STARS !
I had almost given up ever thinking that I could taste credible bread again. This book has changed my mind, and given me delicious alternatives to using NON-grain flour, and using my bread maker that was only gathering dust. The Herb, Spiced, and Seeded Loaves in Chapter 5, pg.24, is amongst my most favorite, and since I make my own Ghee, this recipe, toasted with a slather of ghee is amazing. It can be substituted for croutons with advanced toasting. There is no actual French Bread recipe, but there is one for Italian, so I used the Rosemary Bread recipe, leaving out the herbs for a white bread French-like loaf, and when making this combine the ghee and the x5 eggs and pour into bread maker container, then having defrosted until soft 8oz. of Cream Cheese, break it apart in fourths, and depositing it four-square around the paddle, then spoon in the dry ingredients (otherwise the dry probably would be a mess, even though I circumvented this problem as stated). However, this recipe does not call for any yeast, so the loaf was low and dense. After cooling the dough was more likened to a cake than a bread, but because of the richness of the ghee, the taste is so rich and buttery, and because I chose Medium darkening, just a bit crunchy of crust that its sweetness will be perfect to accept sweetened strawberries or any sweetened berries within its own liqueur, an absolute decadent bakery triumph. The crumb is excellent and the center tender, but substantial and yet delicate, like a substantial pound cake, which would also be good with wafer thin rare roast beef or pork or lamb roast. There is an Italian bread recipe pg. 32, Parmesan Italian Bread that does use 1 tsp. of active yeast, which I now will anxiously await to endeavor, but before that I have scheduled for tomorrow to bake the Raspberry Bread recipe pg. 41, Chapter 7, and then there is the Banana Bread recipe that sounds yummy, and then there's...….. Oh sorry, I just get carried away with this wonderful book....it is so amazing and easy and satisfying....the price is right, and the results NEVER DISAPPOINT!5 STARS !!!!

I just want bread!
This book does not, that I could find, tell you what size of a loaf these recipes make. My breadmaker has 2 one pound pans. I thought what if it is for a 1 1/2 or a 2 lb. So we halved the recipe just to try it used basic setting with a light crust. Never formed a dough ball that's for sure. Did not rise. And when I took it out it was about 2 inches high and I could scoop out the center. So the next day I put regular bread with bread flower in one pan and the KETO Simple ingredients in the other. I set it for basic with a medium crust this time thinking it might help the KETO bread. Nope. My regular bread came out good except the crust was too hard for me because I didn't use the light setting. Again the Simple Bread recipe came out about 3 inches high and is definitely not something I could make a sandwich from. I bought all new ingredients and followed the recipe exactly. Afraid to try any of the other recipes. It would also be helpful to have some pictures. I assumed that the picture on the front (which actually looks like bread) is what I would be getting. Not so. Looking for another recipe source. Would return this book but probably wouldn't be worth the cost.

CORRECTIONS PLEASE?
I recently purchased this book and the recipes look wonderful! Except for the mistakes I might give 5 stars once I actually try the recipes. However, I am confused and don't want to try the recipes until some corrections are made. Of the 38 (approx) recipes in the book, only 5 recipes list yeast as an ingredient. The first two recipes do not list yeast in the ingredients but tell you when to add it (sprinkle on top...but how much?). Only one of the recipes that list yeast as ingredient tells you when to add it (sprinkle on top). In the other recipes should it be added with the dry ingredients? This is quite confusing! Maybe some of the quick bread type recipes dont use yeast but it seems that many of the recipes should have yeast. KETO ingredients are expensive to begin with, and I dont want to waste them. Can the author be contacted to amend the book?
