I got the king size for a queen bed, to have the fuller look of the comforter. As some reviews mentioned, even with the king comforter it doesn’t completely cover the bed to the floor on both sides, but it’s pretty close. The pillow cases look nice, but I don’t sleep on the pillows actually containing them because the cases are definitely made for decoration and not comfort. Just keep in mind when you buy that the pillows for these cases will become decorative and not functional. I do really like the look. I have received many compliments from people on the bedding choice. I was worried that the color may have been too bright, but I think it works well.

Some thoughts: 1. This was really expensive and it looks like it was really expensive. 2. The color has a hint of plum to it. It's beautiful, but makes it hard to match to other pinks in other fabrics in the room. It doesn't match with ballerina pink, rose, hot pink, or coral-pinks at all - it's pretty unique. I looked ALL OVER THE INTERNET including the manufacturer's site and could not find the bed skirt that supposedly matches this set. 3. The quality is pretty good. It will take time for the fabric to relax from the tight packaging and resulting wrinkles - it has been a few days and it still hasn't relaxed so I may have to steam it. My set was missing a rosette (a pretty major decorative piece) on one of the pillow covers, which was disappointing. 4. You can't really set anything on the bed (forget, like, folding laundry on the bed, for example - the zipper of a pair of jeans or the hooks on a bra would snag it all up like crazy) ever again with this comforter. The lacy mesh overlay will snag, including snagging on the bed frame and headboard/footboard if they are not smooth. I wouldn't get this if your bed is unfinished wood or a matte finish metal, for example. 5. It is very nicely heavy for sleeping under. The underside of the comforter is a very soft cotton/poly blend in a soft white/cream color. It is so heavy, it slides off the bed pretty easily. 6. It is over the top frilly and gorgeous if you're into that look. Mind-blowingly ornate and opulent-looking.

It is a very pretty comforter set. It is made of silk with an added layer of a flowery mesh for additional texture. Because of the mesh layer I can not really toss anything like keys on the bed since they would catch on the mesh. Its a rich Victorian looking design. I ordered a King size for my full bed- It still does not quite touch the floor except the left corner which trails on the side. It looks great. I have to see how long it lasts, but for now I am happy with the purchase.

My daughter's bed is a queen; so I bought a king; because all the comments were saying that the bed spread was too short. I wanted it to go all the way to the floor( LIKE IN THE PICTURE). Put it on. It barely fits over the boxspring. She doesn't have a custome made bed or anything so .. I buy a KING comforter and it's STILL too short! People when you pay 200 or more for a spread.. you should get what you paid for.. DON"T BELIEVE THE PICTURE!!!!! THE PICTURE IS A FRAUD!!! Live and learn.. I should have heeded the warning from others!

This is the cutest comforter set that I have seen. I am so pleased with it and will do business with them in the future.

Great buy, looking forward to buying another one when it goes on sale

Looks ALMOST as good as the picture. Except for two minor complaints.......sides could have been a little longer as shown in picture......also the color is a more muted rose rather than the brighter pink shown. aside from those two things........i would buy this again. simply gorgeous, well detailed, lush, elegant spread with the fancy pillows giving it the final finished touches. never spent this much for a bed ensemble but happy i did. a real eye catcher!!!!!!!!
