This is exactly what we needed because we had very low clearance between shower drain and floor. Very pleased!

I used this to adapt a tub drain to a shower drain in a slab on grade foundation originally built in 1964. It was a tight fit but this unit made it possible--very pleased.

Unless you want just a white drain, dont bother ordering any of the metal drain covers. They dont even come close to fitting the drain.Also, I orderd the brushed nickel and it is best described as polished stainless steel.Other then these problems the drain worked.
