My bird loves these. I smash them up in his food and he picks at them. Be careful if you smash them don’t touch your eyes or face until you wash your hands. It hurts

My bird loves these, its the first thing he picks out of the cup in the morning, he will not eat them right out of the bag when they are soft , I have to open the bag and drop them into his food storage container, for a day, I let them get dry and crunchy, he loves them that way.

Cockatoo turned them down
Picky bird wouldn’t eat them. Oils hard to remove from your hands- washed hands twice after handling and still managed to set my eye on fire. Use caution. Or gloves.

My bird wants nothing to do with it.
I'm hoping it's just cause she's a baby and only ever had pet store food, not experiencing much else, but she hasn't even attempted to pick them up yet in the three days that she's had these in her cage. I was hoping she would like them for shredding, not even just for eating, but it doesn't look like it.
