Netgear PWR-002-004 AC Adapter 12V 1.2A Power Supply For EN108 FS105 FE104 SW108 DS108 FS108 FR314 DS106 EN116 FS104 FE108 Router

This power supply works as a replacement for a Netgear FVS318 ProSafe VPN Firewall (8-port router). The original power supply stopped working after a few years. The Netgear adapter output is 12V DC at 1.0A; the replacement UpBright is 12V DC at 2.0A. It's o.k. for the amp rating to be higher. The UpBright adapter is slightly larger than the original Netgear one; see photos.

Works well. 12V, 1.2A. I did not get the one pictured. I got the one with the standard round plug, so no space saving on the surge protector.

This power adapter is 12v but my FS105 is 7.5v 1.0A. I hope it works. It says the FS105 is supported.

nice product, very light weight

This is listed as being compatible with a Netgear FS105 ethernet switch. However, the input for the switch is 7.5v DC, and this power adapter is 12v DC. This could cause damage to the unit, so I just wanted to mention this for anyone else looking at the unit

For the price, this is a very smart buy. Its a little bulky and heavy but it does exactly what it is supposed to do. Sticks in the wall and it powers my router. The shell looks pretty durable too. All in all, well made and a good product. Get it if you need it.
