Excellent grated on pasta! Adds a complexity / umamiI keep it in a vacuum sealed jar in the fridge. Should last for a long long time.

tastes like a fishy gum and made me have huge Diarrhea in 60 mins.....
If I ate a whole Pizza or a bowl or rice or meat then I'm fine. If I eat 3.5 oz of this booger textured fish gum, then it gave me huge Diarrhea. It tastes gummy and fishy. It tells me its rotten food with bacteria called delicacy I guess? after you take a bite your throat hurts a little bit from the ammonia bitter after taste and after an hour the other end hurts with a huge blast. This nasty taste can become very addictive too. good tasting stuff never becomes addictive like this. So watch out.

Mild flavor
The flavor was bottarga, but lacked depth. Shaved thin to top an appetizer would probably the best use for this product. Tried using a whole package to make a pound of fettucine and while not bad the flavor was underwhelming. My (adult) kids likened the dish to eating pasta seated next to the open door of a quality seafood shop.However, for those not wanting a more subtle dish this could be the perfect choice.
