Seiko Women's SXDG98 Analog Display Japanese Quartz Brown Watch

I had a Seiko watch "Solar" that I bought 4 years ago. It was a cute watch two tone face and reddish leather band. The watch had date on it and easy to read. I really liked it and wore it often. It died about 2 months ago and I sent it to Seiko for repair. It was only 2 months out of warranty. They sent me a quote to repair it for $136. Well, that being said, I knew it would be ridiculous to repair it, and since it was out of warranty that was pretty much that ,so I had them send it back to me. Very disappointing. It is such a "throw away" society we live in now and I did want the watch and would have continued to wear it had the cost to repair not have been so expensive.I felt they should have repaired it since it was only 2 months out of warranty, would have been nice if they had cut me some slack but they did not. I started looking again for another leather band style watch and since the "Solar" didn't last that long ( I have other watches from Citizen that are "Solar" and both of them are around 10 years old now and still working!). I couldn't find what I was looking for style wise for the price I was looking for, so I ended up purchasing another Seiko (hope this is not a mistake) and this time I went with a regular battery powered instead of the "Solar". At least I should get 3 to 4 years out of it before having to purchase a $10 battery. Maybe it was a dumb thing to do to buy another Seiko, but I figure for the money I would give it another try. It is a really good looking watch so we'll see...

It is very stylish, not sure about water resistant,says it is but I don’t put it in water. Fits my arm perfect. Looks nice as well. Glad I made this purchase. I had been looking for awhile and I finally found what I wanted!

The media could not be loaded.  My husband gifted me this watch when I started my first adult job. It’s gorgeous!!! The leather strap is textured which adds a lot of character to the watch. Rose gold goes so well with the leather. Great value for the money and a lovely piece of jewelry.

It looks better IRL compared to the supplied pictures, the dial is whiter w/o the rose goal tinge you see in the product page pic. The crown is pretty easy to pull, quick-date set works perfectly, second hand actually hits the marks dead on (YMMV), overall a very classy looking piece, my wife really liked it.As another reviewer noted, the crown was in and the watch was running upon receipt, but I could not see any signs of previous use.

It's comfortable to wear and I can really rely on it. I used to wear SEIKO brand watches a lot in my home country and it never disappointed me. So I'm really pleased to get this brand back onto my wrist for everyday use.

The watch is classy but casual. My wife likes it. My only complaint is that it was received with post in and battery being drained. Possibly a return resold?

Well made and made a great gift for grandma. Easy to read and comfortable.

It's an attractive watch, but lost 7 minutes over the course of 3 days. I had to return it.
