Love these lipsticks

Chose this colour to go a subtle red but it goes a light pink on me. I normally only wear red so disappointed in the colour however have been told the colour suits me and it does seem to leave my lips moisturised.

Love it’ just the right amount of colour

I love this colour. Sadly so do the borrows so I'm on my third one. I think I need to attach a chain to it :-) You can deepen the colour by re-applying, starting with a lovely hint of colour

This is not a lipstick. This is a tainted lipbalm. Fair enough I should've read the description, but this is just not what I wanted. I'm disappointed.

This is my holy grail lipstick. It is somewhere between a tinted lip balm and a lipstick and leaves my very faintly coloured lips looking naturally flushed. It is easy to apply even without a mirror and moisturizing enough to use instead of lip balm. I have tried Burts Bees, Korres and Fresh Sugar tinted lip balms but none offer as much colour or moisture.

I love Lipstick Queen, and was very intrigued to try the Intense version of this classic neutral red. It is not sheer like most of the LQ I own, which I expected. It is a more traditional creamy texture with great pigmentation. I especially love that it stains your lips enough that you still look like you have on a little lipstick after eating. However, this does not stay put under a mask the way traditional LQ lipsticks do. Definitely still worth having in my collection.

It was very dry and hard to use

I had been trying to track down this lipstick ever since reading a review of it in Nylon magazine several years ago. The shade is mean to mimic the color of medieval ladies' lips when they applied lemon juice to irritate them into a soft reddish pink color.It looks from the pictures like it should be a solid red, but it goes on quite sheer so as to achieve a reddened, but still natural look. I like the sheerness of the color because you can put on a couple more layers to make it more pronounced, or just wear one layer to look kind of flushed, but still yourself. I wear it a lot for both dressy and casual occasions because the color and sheerness are so versatile. It's a perfect "my lips but better" shade since the color of your lips can show through a little, making it adaptable to many skin tones.The formula is also great. It is light and smooth, not sticky or patchy at all. It actually feels more like a lip balm to me. Definitely one of my favorite brands based on this lipstick alone, as I have yet to try other shades. The price may seem a little high for US customers, but this is partly because Lipstick Queen is an Australian company, and prices are pretty high there. I definitely think it's worth the price for how often I wear it.

This is one of my favorite lipsticks. I love the color and how it feels on my lips. Long lasting too!
