I used to get sick as a dog. But not anymore
I used to get sick as a dog when I was at altitude on the guys ski trip. My wife found these pills and told me to try them instead of my old prescription of Dexamethasone. The next ski trip I tried Altitude RX and it worked amazingly. I now share it with all my friends and family. Highly recommend using it for your next altitude trip.

Made a HUGE Difference
I've been to the mountains three times. The first two times I had altitude sickness to the point where I could not eat more than one or two bites of food without feeling horribly ill.I had headaches and I was dizzy all the time.My third trip to the mountains was for a ski trip with friends a few weeks ago. I was nervous I would have the same reaction as before and would not be able to participate and drag our group down, so I got these pills in hopes to avoid that. THEY WORKED.I started taking the pills a day or so before we left and took one in the morning and one in the evening every day that we were there and I hardly had any of the the usual symptoms. I could feel sometimes the pill starting to wear off and that's when I would take my next one. That aligned with the timing of taking them on the directions. You get a lot of pills for the money. This will last you a long time.I'm so glad I got these, they saved our ski trip.I also get really bad altitude sickness while flying in airplanes. I plan on using these for my next plane trip as well.I don't care if it is just a placebo effect. It was well worth the $35 for me to not feel miserable for a week and get to enjoy the trip with my friends and family.

Good results
A friend and I travelled from sea level to Denver. Within 12 hours of landing we were hiking at 9k feet in the Rockies. Drove up to over 12k and walked around, came back down within 16 hours. Other than feeling like we had less air in our lungs while hiking and it was harder to catch my breath, we had no other symptoms. We stayed in a place at 8500k and had no issues there either, felt totally fine. A year ago I was in the Tetons backpacking after about 36 hours and had some elevation issues at around 10k. Granted, I had a 50lb pack on my back and did some crazy climbing and the terrain was very difficult - but I kept getting dizzy there. I figured I would give this a try. I began using it 2 days prior and throughout our trip. We hiked Gem lake, haiyaha, emerald, bear and some of the continental divide and walked around places on trail ridge road and we were totally fine. We were actually passing everyone else on the trails. My friend and I are happy with the results and I will use again.

Helped me in Peru
We went to visit Machu Picchu and used these pills. The first day, we were suffering and short of breath even though we took the pills the day before as instructed on the bottle. The second day was much better so I suggest to start taking the pills at least 2 or 3 days before. Of course, we did go to Peru from sea level so maybe that was why it took longer to work for us. Either way, they did the trick. My only complaint is the taste. They taste and smell horrendous and if you burp, you have to deal with the taste again. But I was ok with that because I could at least breathe on my trip and had a great time.

Almost died in Nepal
I purchased this product in 2016 and I'm just writing a review now because I recently stumbled across some of my medical records from a brief stay at a hospital in Kathmandu.I purchased this product prior to a trek to Everest Base Camp in Nepal. At the time, I was at my physically fittest, 11% body fat, doing routine high intensity interval training, eating clean, no drugs, no tobacco, no alcohol. On advisement, I also ate vegetarian in Nepal, hydrated well with electrolytes, and followed the proper acclimatization schedule (hike high, sleep low, rest days) as advised by the professional guiding service I used.I started taking the product before landing in Lukla (9k ft) and I followed the recommended dosage instructions on the bottle (details elude me now). At 15k ft, several days into the trek, I experienced ataxia (unstable gait) and had difficulty getting out of bed. My guide gave me either diamox or maybe dexamethasone and advised me to immediately descend. I took a medevac chopper back down to Kathmandu, where I spent the next 3 days to recuperate.I was diagnosed with HACE (High Altitude Cerebral Edema), which Wikipedia told me kills something like 99% of people that don't descend from altitude within 24 hours. I think I read that it's conjectured to be a more severe form of AMS (Altitude Mountain Sickness).Like me, you've probably been training, researching, and preparing all you can to get ready for some high altitude adventure. Everyone is different, but I can tell you I was as well prepared and conditioned as I could have been, but at my first extended experience above 14k ft using these pills, they did absolutely nothing for me and I almost died in the process.

worked for Machu Picchu
i read about altitute sickness - so to prepare for my trips to Machu Picchu in Peru and also to Bogota, Colombia, i took this altitude medicine. I did not get sick at all in either country, i did not have any heachaches or nausea. the pills did their job and i experienced no side effects. i started taking them a few days before the start of each trip and took them during each trip as well. worth the money
