Bought this dryer July 9 from home Depot. It came 2 weeks later. Got it connected and started to use it. Continually stops running after a few minutes of dry with an error code d90. Look it up and it says it means my dryer vent is 90% clogged. Sounds bad, right? So I have the vent cleaned professionally. Problem solved, right? Wrong! Immediately get the same code. LG says to run it empty 3 times on manual (great reset option guys! That's 90 minutes of running an empty dryer) and then try it. Same code! I've been struggling with this dryer for 2 weeks at this point and I'm like, DONE. Home Depot will not take it back, SURPRISE, they don't take back appliances (unlike their rival LOWE'S who takes everything back) and says I have to deal with LG. LG wants to send a repairman out to look at a dryer I do not want and based on Google searches do not think is repairable. When you call LG's help line and say you want help with a dryer, the recorded voice right away tells you the error code d90 is your dirty vents fault. I don't think so, have been running dryers in this house for 10 years, clean regularly, no problems, short dry times. Don't BUY THIS DRYER. And so you know I'm legit, I actually really like the matching washer, very clean clothes. But all I want for the love of Pete is to exchange the dryer for another model.

overall good reviews..but
although this model has consistently good reviews we found it lacking in several areas.1. no internal light..for a $800 machine.."give me a break" many comparable models costing far less have internal lights2. sensor not very effective with large loads.
