Great piece of gear
Great piece of gear. Very sensitive, clear and comfortable.Removing the batteries to save battery life is a pain, as I don't use them every day.

Don't waste your money
My company provided us with these to test and see if they were worth investing. In short, no, they are not. They offer little to no functions that justify the insane price tag.The Bad:- PRICE! Seriously, this is outrageous price tag that I cannot see being justified.- The switch for changing modes is very difficult to operate while the plugs are in your ears. I had to remove them, switch the mode, and re-insert them every time I wanted to change modes.- No off switch, you have to pull the little battery cover off when you want them to be turned off. This means you have to fumble around with inserting a tiny battery into each ear bud every time you want to use them. The Good:- The best thing about them is that they come with a variety of sizes and types of plugs that fit onto the electronics. This allows you to find a comfortable size and style of plugs.- They come with a handy carrying case. This can be improved though as the carrying case doesn't have a means to attach it to anything.Final thoughts: Don't waste your money! Go get yourself some custom molded / fitted ear plugs for a fraction of the cost that come in an easy to manage and carry case.

A step backwards from the older version
These did not work out of the box; the electronics were defective. I returned them. I owned the previous version of them, which I was mostly happy with, but these didn't feel right in my ears. I couldn't get them adjusted in a way in which they both blocked noise and didn't hurt my ears.

Very good, only a couple problems.
I've owned these for over a year now, and they have been great. They aren't perfect, but as a person that wears ear plugs every day, I have been very happy with these. The good- they let you hear everything just as well as if you had nothing in your ear. The sound amplification feature is nice sometimes, but it amplifies EVERYTHING so background noises get overpowering easily. The automatic noise attenuation is so subtle that you hardly notice it until you go to do something without them in after wearing them all day and it hurts your ears. The bad- they are expensive. If you wear them over 10 hours at a time, especially working and sweating, the humidity from your body makes them get really quiet as if they are broken. I solved this by getting a hearing aid dryer and putting them in it over lunch and over night. Final bad, I didn't really like any of their ear tips very much, except the foam ones, and wound up finding creative ways of making my own to save money before finally making custom molded ear tips, which made them way better.
