It fit in the right area just too slow
I needed a 1LPN3 was hoping I could use the 1 LPN8 but it moved too slow. It was just he same size just too slow to do what I needed done.

Dayton Gear Motor
The Dayton AC Parallel shaft PSC Gear Motor Model 1LPN8 performed flawlessly in its intended function. The motor was used to turn a lamb on a spit for Orthodox Easter over hot coals for 6 hours. The motor did the job with no complaints. The price of the gear motor was high considering it replaced a motor connected to a gear reduction assembly out of a mangle that was recovered on a tree lawn on garbage day back in the 80'S. The system is only used once per year unless we do a pig roast at the end of summer. The gear motor was fitted with a pulley wheel and attached to the spit with a v-belt. There was no slippage whatsoever which was the only complaint with the original system. I gave the motor a 4 star rating only because I did not want to spend that much to replace soething I got for free and I have only used it once so far. (so I'm cheap)
