Wine Enthusiast Silent 18 Bottle Wine Refrigerator - Freestanding Slimline Bottle Storage Wine Cooler, Black

I love wine (who doesn't?), especially reds. However, living in a condo, it's hard to maintain reds at a good serving temperature. No basement to stick these bottles in.I had toyed with the idea of a wine fridge for awhile, and finally pulled the trigger earlier this year. I did some research and the two main features I wanted were: 1) quiet operation, and 2) dual zone. It seemed pointless to shell out for a single zone fridge where I could only house either reds or whites, but not both.This unit was billed as a quiet/silent wine fridge, and happy to report that it definitely meets those standards. I can best describe the noise as a white noise / slight hum. Enough to know that it's running, but not enough to be distracting.The temperature zones are great - I've got reds on top, whites/rose on the bottom. In terms of design, the top section (reds) has the capability to store wines both lying flat, as well as standing up (2 bottles max). This is great because you can keep the wines flat for longer term storage, but if you have a vacuum wine stopper you can theoretically open a bottle, plug it back with the vacuum stopper, and then put it back in the wine fridge while standing up - keeping it fresh and drinkable for at least another week.Finally - the design is very sleek / modern. Looks great in a living room. Very happy with my purchase, and would recommend it to anyone who is like me - not a wine connoisseur but who is simply looking to make the most of their wines.

Fully stocked! Its slim design works great. Only downside is how it doesn’t fit anything other than ordinary wine and sparkling bottles. Be aware, yes, it is loud to start, but 24 hours later once the set temperatures are met it has a gentle low hum.

I selected this because I needed a black wine refrigerator with dual zone. This unit is a great complement to our kitchen. At first I thought it was a little noisy but it dawned on me... metal shelves vibrating when the compressor comes on. Once filled with wine, very little noise! The bottom area has a semi vertical storage area where one can place an opened but unfinished bottle. Maintains temperature very well but it does cycle very frequently - thus the 4 stars. Cycling is lessened when full but it does come on about every 2 to 3 minutes and run for almost 2 minutes. Makes me worry about the longevity of the unit with such frequent cycling.

Everyone's idea of quiet is clearly different. I bought this product in April of 2024 and almost immediately after purchasing, I noticed this constant "zapping" noise that occurs every 2-5 minutes. Additionally, I guess the compressor constantly restarts so it just runs loudly like 75% of the time. I reached out to the merchant about this issue who swiftly gave me their technical department's number. I reach out to them and explain my issue and all they recommended was that I clean the coils and have a technician come in to fix it. Please keep in mind, I haven't even had this wine fridge for a year. And unfortunately, the responsibility is on me as the merchant isn't taking accountability for a faulty product. I would NOT recommend this product to anyone and believe there are better wine fridges in the market. Please save yourself the disruption of peace and underwhelming customer service.

Let me start by saying I purchased two previous wine coolers from Amazon, and had to send both back the day after delivery (Nutrichef 12 bottle, Magic Chef 12 bottle). The first was damaged, the second had a faulty temp display which I called the manufacturer to fix and they told me to return it, and then I bought this. I figured why not go bigger.The WE dual zone cooler was packed much better than the previous two, and there was no damage. I read over the manual (highly recommend) and let the cooler stand unplugged overnight. The next morning I plugged it in, set my desired temps and hung around the house for a bit. The top part didn’t take long at all to get to my set temp (58 degrees) while the bottom was taking quite a while (47). I went to work and came back later that evening to find a very cooled, QUIET wine fridge!I was skeptical to get this one, mostly because WE wine coolers in the past have gotten bad reviews and people have reviewed this one as being too loud. Well, I’m happy to say mine is completely silent. I had to put my ear up to it to make sure it’s running. Zero noise. The first one I got made a horrible buzz sound. The manual does say if your wine cooler is making a loud noise it’s most likely not leveled or the room is too hot for it to operate correctly. I keep my home about 69-71 degrees. It took a hot minute to level the cooler because my floor is all messed up but I did and I haven’t had any issues. My roommates and I love it and not to mention, it looks beautiful!If you follow the manual and do what you’re supposed to, you should love this cooler and not have any problems. I know some can be faulty... but I’m extremely happy with mine!
