Zotos Lamaur Vita E Ultra Hold Hair Spray, 10 Ounce

This hair spray is entirely too expensive however it's been discontinued for some reason and I have used it for years.

I had a can of this awhile back and have been looking for it. Love the way it holds and makes your hair feel. I did have to take off one star because I think they changed the formula a bit. It used to be a hard hold spray and made your hair stiff. I liked that for days that I needed it. Seems to have softened up a bit but still holds well. It is the scented version so keep that in mind if you are sensitive to scent.

I love this hairspray. I go back to other products occasionally when I run out before going to the hairdresser and they are all "wet" feeling. This hairspray sprays out in a fine mist that doesn't wet you hair down. It holds wonderfully and I also use it for styling. I am so excited to see that I can purchase it at Amazon!!

BESTdarned hairspray I've ever used in my 63 yrs. Does not dry hair out at all and does not make my scalp itch at all. Only have to wash hair every other day now and threw away all my Consort products.

I have loved and still love the hairspray in the Lamaur Vitae can, ever since it was introduced to my by my friend and hair stylist many years ago. As others have mentioned, it doesn't leave hair weighed down or sticky, it doesn't make my head or my skin itch, and throughout the day it holds well but my hair is still soft and pliable. I don't ever have "helmet head" when using Lamaur Vitae spray. It's also pretty easy to wash out without 'stripping' shampoo, which is too harsh for my hair. All in all, what's in the can is superior to any hairspray I've used.But the company, or perhaps someone in some department at the company whose bonus depends on cutting costs, has switched to a lower-grade spray valve. Minus one star for that!The lower-grade spray valve is a big problem, because:1. The spray now does not come out the hole in the spray valve immediately, but backs up somehow for 2-3 seconds, and that causes the press-button itself to get "sticky" -- in other words the button sticks and makes the spray valve even more lazy than it tends to be right after I am forced to wash it under the running water of the bathroom sink, and dry it well with paper towels so that when I spray my hair, water won't get on my clothes or my hair. The problem is very annoying.2. The spray doesn't come out as freely as it did with the old spray valves, even the first spray of a new can -- sticky, sticky, sticky button. The old valves were really excellent; the spray immediately came out as a mist but in a strong mist-stream, so that a little touch of the button made a lot of spray. One not-very-long spray was enough for my hair. The new spayers still create mist but there's hardly any force in the can, so it takes an inordinate amount of time to spray my whole head.3. After using once or twice after cleaning, the button doesn't work - again - and the spray valve is clogged - again. This happens with every new can!I like this product. I wish the company would buy better valves. If they have to raise the price a nickle, do it but fix the problem!

This is the bestspray I have ever used. Does not leave hair sticky and holds hair in place in the wind. Is odorless which I especially like. I am not allergic to it and this is a rare occurance
