Cut down on waste
Bought these cuz I felt wasteful using ziplocks when freezing meats. I boiled them in lemon water like it suggested in the description and I was impressed that it did withstand the heat and cooled reasonably quickly. Finally got to use a couple and I am pleased. I like that you can write on them with dry erase markers so the bags can be dated or have instructions written on them. I recieved all the extras that was advertised and like those as well. For how many bags I got and the extras, i thought the price was fair when compared to other brands price/pieces

hard to seal
I like the weight of the bags but the part that slides across the top and seals that bag is very difficult to slide. I would not put anything liquid in these bags because it is so hard to slide.

These are just ok
These are ok. They do not stand up for filling hands free. That is a big disappointment. I have washed in dishwasher as they dont seem to get as clean as i am comfortable with. Food residue gets stuck at bottom in the folds. Too bad.

Convenient storage.
I just recently purchased these and so far they are good. Did a leak test and they did not leak. I like the thought of using these and not going through so many plastic baggies. Like the pleated bottom and they are pretty easy to fill. You definitely have to let them dry open and upside down. But not a big problem for me. They can be put in the dishwasher, but I prefer to hand wash.

Ok but hard to use. They leave a strong silicone taste to the food.
