I use this food-grade citric acid mainly for cleaning, and it works amazingly well. It removes limescale quickly and effectively — I use it in the bathroom to clean hard water stains and in my electric kettle to descale. It works much faster than vinegar and, best of all, it doesn’t have that strong smell. A little goes a long way, and it’s now a staple in my cleaning routine. Highly recommend it as a natural and odorless alternative to harsh chemicals or vinegar!

I use it to clean and de-scale my coffeemaker and kettle, and it works wonderfully for that. It's also perfect as a dishwasher cleaner--just put it in the detergent dispenser and run a cycle with the washer empty. This is the same ingredient as in the brand-name dishwasher cleaner tabs and it works just as well, but at a fraction of the price.

Best price for quality I could find. I bought to clean rust spots from bottom of pool. Poured into a small sock tied to the end of my pool brush pole and rubbed over rust spots. After a few minutes all spots were gone. They had been there for over a year. A must buy for pool cleaning.

Works great to clean my electric tea kettle! I also use it to remove iron stains from toilet tank.

It's citric acid. The grains are too large for bathbombs. It's cheap but not worth the health risk running it thru the food processor to break it up.

I bought this to occasionally clean out my steam distiller. My water has minerals in it that build up over time inside the distiller. Adding a scoop of calcium citrate to it and boiling it for 15 minutes cleans it very well. The product works.
