One 'n Only Curl Remover with Keratin Tinted/highlighted Formula

I've been using this product for years and will continue to do so. It is gentle on your hair yet takes the frizz down to a manageable level....thank you!

Took out some of the perm but not all.

With all the scary press about straighteners containing hair-destroying formaldehyde, and having had one near-miss myself (it took four haircuts to grow out the frayed ends), I was nervous and took every precaution. My very curly-frizzy hair has to be smoothed out or I just don't want to live. I chose the wimpiest formula, the one for tinted hair, stuck precisely to the instructions for timing, and GOT A PERFECT RESULT. I couldn't be happier. I have used this product for years, and my one bad result was down to me not choosing the right formula for my tinted hair and then playing around with the timing. Stupid, really. This is a fine product - just be careful. It's a chemical, and it's your hair at stake.

I bought this at Sally's but wanted to write a review here.This is such a great deal and I had GREAT results! I've been a licensed cosmetologist for 11 years and I do my hair at home.I used this like a Thermal Reconstructor and these were my steps.1. Wash hair with clarifying shampoo. Dry and flat iron hair.2. Apply step 1 from box to hair in small sections staying off scalp and keeping hair as straight as possible. Box says 15 min max time and I left mine on for 20 until my curls were relaxed.3. Rinse hair for 6-8 mins (make sure you take your time and rinse everything or your hair will PERMANENTLY smell like a perm) Gently blow dry hair, use a small amount of heat protectant and flat iron again.4. Apply neutralizer and leave it on 10 mins while making sure hair is lying smooth and flat.5. Rinse for 6 mins and apply deep conditioner for 10 mins then rinse.6. Apply heat protectant and leave in conditioner, dry and flat iron.7. You're DONE! Enjoy your beautiful smooth hair and wait 2 days (at least 48 hours) to wash it.I didn't put enough on 1 spot in the nape area and it's wavy instead of curly now but I can wake up, wash and go with straight hair. No more curls and no more flat iron EVERY day!

I have a really bumpy hair that I usually treat with keratin which works perfectly . This product was a total waste of time and energy . I applied it as instructed & after I washed it off and waited for it to air dry , I was absolutely disappointed. It was like I did nothing !! Sometimes an expensive shampoo does a better job ! Not a single lock was slightly relaxed not even straightened . Not to mention all the chemicals made my hair fall like crazy . It was a horrible mistake that I'm painfully regretting . Don't waste time on this product .

I use this product every 4 mos, I have VERY naturally curly, fine, red hair that has been frizzy and problematic my entire life! I use this and it takes the frizz out and is much easier to manage. It doesn't make it perfectly straight,just makes it much easier to make straight (I use hair dryer to scrunch and flat iron for a straighter look) and keep that way as moisture won't affect it and make hair frizzy. I use the one for Chemically treated hair.

So far so good.
