I am not a huge fan of animal inspired designs, but I am a fan of Farenheit Flat Irons. I recently broke the one I have had for at least 7-8 years and immediately starting searching for a replacement. The "bee hive" design was available with a discount coupon, so I ordered it and it is the same quality as my previous one. By the way, I also have a Farenheit Flat Iron that stays in my travel bag, so I have purchased 3 in all! Recommended!!!

I have had Fahrenheit straighteners for as long as I can remember. When my daughter broke my last one I tried to get a target one. Hated it. Came here to order another one and exceeds expectations. I have long silky straight hair so m not using it to really straighten my hair. More to get out kinks from sleeping and my bangs.

Modest price and quality flat iron. This is my 3rd one. Used by several girls in family.

This straightener is really cute. Weird to say about a hair styling tool, maybe, but I really dig the beehive design.Functionally, it performs really well. At this price point, it's superior to some other brands I've tried. It heats up fast, and I like that it has a swivel cord connector so it doesn't get tangled.I did have some issues with my hair snagging as I used it, which I didn't love. But I'm not sure if that's a design issue so much as me being used to a different straightener. I've tried it several times, though, and still sometimes end up with snags.It does a nice job of straightening my hair, which is naturally course and curly. As with all other straighteners, to get good results, I have to blow my hair dry and straighten it most of the way with a combo dryer/brush. Then, straighten it with a straightener in sections. As long as I put the right amount of hair through this straightener at once, it does a great job.Overall, I like this straightener. It's easy to use, heats up quickly and is super cute to look at.

My previous flat iron was the same brand and I purchased again for obvious reasons. They last years, light weight and durable.

It pulls my hair when I strighten it

This has a great tactile feel and is comfortable in the hand. It rests easily on a surface upright, without heating whatever its resting on. The plates are not wide. You need small amounts of hair otherwise it gets caught in the surrounding crevices and pulls the hair. It didn't pull any out, but it had that horrible scraping sound b/c the hair was off the plates and between the connection and the screw that holds it in place. You can hold the end and it doesn't get hot.Besides the hair off of the plates and into the crevices, I don't like that the on-off switch is inside. I cannot read the label on the heat setting and can't seem to see when it is at the designated temperature.For the latter reasons, I wouldn't recommend it unless you have fine, short hair and good eyesight.
