Great book in great shape
There isn't much to say about this book, it's a classic and I wanted to review the subject. The thing is, I was after a good deal for this great book and I finally found it. It's used, but it was very cheap and it said it was in good shape. Then it arrived and it actually looks like new. The cover has some minor signs of damage (totally negligible), but the pages are perfect. It seems that whoever owned this book simply put in a shelf and never opened it.I can't find the seller now (I'll try to find later), but whoever sold this, you did a great job.

Needs upgraded graphics and equations.
Great upgrade to an ebook. It would have been even better if the graphics and the equations had bee upgraded as well for this classic textbook. They are not bad, but they are not perfect.

Old but Gold
Good but rigorous pedagogy. Tough both volumes out and you’ll have a very good base to pursue higher maths.

I expect more from Wiley
Unexpectedly poor quality printing, some equations are barely discernible. Cheap covers and binding. Not vaguely comparable to the quality of my copy of Vol. I, also printed by Wiley. For the price, one would be better downloading a free digital copy from the web.

Content is good. Condition is bad!
So I actually bought this book and guess what? The book spine was cut when received and the figures inside so bad that it is almost impossible to see the details because the ink is nearly not there. The text's condition however is fine. It's not the first time I got a complain about Wiley books. I also bought Apostol's Analysis (twice!) and there were also cuts in the spine and bad printing. I'm done with Wiley!I also find it ridiculous that Amazon don't have any kind of product control before sending their books! These cuts were very clear on the front cover! You have to be blind to miss them! I mean someone must have packed the damn thing. It is as if they want to give the customer a bad conditional book deliberately! After a lot of amazon book orders I am sad to say this isn't the first time. I recommend buying your books elsewhere if you want your new expensive books to be perfect!!

Still useful books
This book published in 1969 joined Vol.1, published in 1967, in my library. A fortunate purchase in 2010 (new, not used, and I think I wrote a first review), as I way back in the 1980s did not buy Vol. 2 and did not think any much about the author until I found his name on amazon.com on a library computer and found Vol. 2 still available. Great, as I appreciate the author'' s in depth text and especially proofs.in both Vol. 1 and Vol. 2, each covering approx. 670 pages. Never mind modern computer maths have come and made these books somewhat old-fashioned. They are still useful.

A Classic Gem
One of the best math books I have ever encountered, teaches intro to proofs and mathematical analysis in a very intuitive way.
