I bought this based on other people's reviews, so I thought I'd leave one of my own. Background: a few years ago I decided I was tired of covering my skin with makeup and got into K beauty. I experimented, mixed and matched- my skin really improved. More even toned, better texture, clear. But there were a few things I just couldn't figure out how to fix: super oily skin (like I was uncomfortable by the end of day because I could FEEL how oily I was.) Large pores. Blackheads in my nose that just wouldn't go away. I decided to try Paula's Choice based on their reviews and that brand DESTROYED everything I had accomplished. I tried two different sets thinking maybe the first one just wasn't the right one for me (they have such high reviews!). The Resist line made me even more oily, which I thought was impossible. It somehow made my skin dry at the same time? Like I could see my face and neck pulling in a weird way when I moved. Hard to describe. I got pimples all over my face and neck. It wasn't purging, I had great skin before with a detailed K beauty regimen. I tried the Clear line and it got rid of all of the pimples but basically because it burned them off. I had chemical burns so bad my neck swelled and I looked like a frog. I was itchy and uncomfortable. It looked like bruises formed on different parts of my face too? Crazy. I went back to my normal K beauty routine and my weird dry skin sloughed off like a snake the first wash. It immediately felt better, moisturized, soft, all of the discomfort Paula's Choice had caused was gone. It took a week for the burns and swelling to go down though, along with hydrocortisone cream. I resigned myself to accepting my remaining issues because it was still the best skin had I ever had, and maybe it's the best my skin was capable of. This brand popped up on Amazon one day and I don't know why Paula's Choice didn't terrify me out of trying something new, but people's reviews and the price caught me. This set along with the retinol and hyaluronic acid serums has reduced my oiliness significantly. I don't feel desperate to wash my face right after work. My pores are smaller and my blackheads are disappearing. My skin is soft, even, blemish free. My under eyes look tighter and brighter. I have a Korean sunscreen that I love that has soothing calamine in it which also brightens (not whitens) your complexion (Prem is the brand), and now that is all I have to use on my face. Sunscreen, lipstick, mascara and I looked put together for the office. I'm in love, please never discontinue these products or raise the price crazy. I will buy these forever.

I used this product for a while when I started out it was good after a while the toner seems like it was just water. So I needed my subscription.

First picture was taken at Christmas. The second picture taken today. I’m soon to be 55. I don’t have a bunch of wrinkles on lines but they have started this past year more and I’m horrible at doing a skin care routine. I have tried literally everything from oil of Olay, Mary Kay, Avon este lauder, arbonne, Clinique, limelife to plexus. Some I couldn’t use at all because they broke me out. Some were nice but through the years I just didn’t see a difference in spending the money. I went out on a limb and decided to try tree of life I’ve only used it for two days and I have already seen a difference. I have to stick to the routine and seeing a difference in such a short time I feel like I Will definitely keep it up! All the products I bought I can fly with in my carry on which is a plus! For those that complained it’s sticky. There’s very little you need so if you use it and your skin is sticky back down on the amount. It like a small dab that’s it. And it should last a long time. I’m definitely sold on this product!

It’s not for me. Here’s why:Cleanser: slimy, it doesn’t soap up. I tried different ways of trying to do it but I think that’s just the consistency and I don’t like it. It does clean probably but I didn’t see any benefits my original cleanser worked betterToner: it’s an orange tint. I thought i was tripping but after putting it on my pad without using it it still dries orange. Again didn’t see any benefits but it didn’t damage my skin so that’s a winSerum: the only reason this got 3 stars but for the prices I can use any other serumEye gel: I stopped using after 2 days it burns. No I didn’t put it in my eye it literally just burns my skinMoisturizer: doesn’t absorb well you have to use very little which is good in savings but even when using just a little you have to rub it in for a while which makes me believe my hands are absorbing it not my face but also it didn’t damage or breakout my skin so it’s cool

I really love this vitamin C serum! It feels super soft and lightweight on my skin, which makes it perfect for daily use. They recently changed the applicator, and it’s much easier to use now. Since I need about three drops per application and use it twice a day, it runs out in about a month. But honestly, for the price, I don’t mind at all. It’s a great deal for the quality.

First of all, I’ve used several skin care products in my life but I think I finally found the one I’ll use for the rest of my days. My skin isn’t bad, but it can definitely be better, and my pores are what’s most visible. I’m 23, and lately I’ve been noticing my skin is super dry and I even noticed fine lines on my forehead! This launched me to find an anti aging product and I stumbled onto this one, I’ve never had so many steps in a skin routine but it feels so nice to take care of myself this way. I bought the facial exfoliater and the retinol serum as well, and the first time I used this product I was so shocked at how soft my skin felt. Today is barely my second day and my coworker told me that my skin looks amazing and that I look like I’m glowing, and I was like yep, this is definitely working and I just started.I will post an update after the 60 days, but so far so good!
